Magicpin Guide Part 2:- Groupbuy and BigFridaySale

This Thread is regarding BigFridaySale, A Sale which starts on Friday and offers Big More Discounts on purchases in magicpin than on rest days of week. Before going to BigFridaySale, first need to know what is Groupbuy.
WHAT IS GROUP-BUY?
Buy vouchers in groups for Extra Savings on Magicpin purchases.
“It’s Similar to Fashion Sales like Buy 1 Get 5 % discount, Buy 5 and Get 10% discount” i.e. in magicpin if 1 user buys alone he gets let say 5% but if 5 users forms a group and each buys it then all can avail 10% discount = Groupbuy
Example:- There is a Groupbuy Voucher “Get 10% discount on Flipkart Gift Voucher”. Groupbuy Size:- 5members. Cost:- 10 Magicpoints.
Let say Ram and Shyam are Friends. Both needs Flipkart Gift Voucher at 10% discount.
Ram buy this Voucher and a group of 5 will be created with 4 spots left. Now he must invite 4 more friends to join the same group→ Ram invites Shyam and 3 other Friends who buy the same voucher using his Group link→ once Group of 5 is completed, then Coupon code is activated, using which all 5 members of Group can get 10% discount on Flipkart Voucher.
A user can either Group-Buy within an existing group (i.e. Be Shyam) or create a new one (i.e. Be Ram), after successful completion of the group, the Benefit is activated for each group member.
Step By Step Guide – How To Use Group Buy
(If You are Ram) Scroll through the redeem points page to find BigFridaySale banner and Group-Buy Vouchers.
1. After Selecting Voucher, purchase it and create Group.
2. Invite your friends (like Shyam) to join the group by referring them through any social media platform.
3. Once the group is completed, the Benefit i.e. the coupon code is activated for each group member.
Learn About Active Group-Buys
There are two ways to purchase a group-buy voucher
a. by creating a group yourself and inviting your friends (like Ram). (Buy the Groupbuy Voucher and then click invite Friends and share Groupbuy link via any medium)
or
b. by joining a group that your friends have initiated (like Shyam). (Click on the Groupbuy link received →open the link in magicpin app → Buy the Groupbuy Voucher)
Shyam can Join Ram’s Group even w/o the need of him sending Groupbuy Link PROVIDED SHYAM FOLLOWS RAM ON MAGICPIN
“Active GroupBuys” feature : shows your friends who have already bought a Group-Buy Voucher and require more members to complete the group. (Best Feature for those who don’t get groupbuy links, Just follow those magicpin users who always create or are part of Groupbuy and automatically see those groupbuy in your Magicpin)
Note:
Remember to Complete the group within the stipulated time limit mentioned otherwise, benefit won’t be unlocked for any member of Group.
MAGICPIN BIG FRIDAY SALE
Its Starts every friday at 4pm but to be eligible for sale user must completed Groupbuy of required category before Friday 3pm.
Groupbuy Starts mostly on Wednesday (Time is Not Fixed) → Once a Groupbuy is created, it must be completed within 24hours or before Friday 3pm whichever is earlier → Once Groupbuy is completed the coupon code of that category will be activated for all members of that Group at Friday 4pm.
Timeline:-
From Wednesday to Friday 3pm→ Groupbuy Creation and completion
Friday 4pm onwards → BigFridaySale starts

To Redeem the Voucher: Visit the Outlet and tell the merchant that u will pay via Magicpin Voucher. 2 Ways to Redeem the Voucher at outlet:-
Open Magicpin→Account→My Transactions→Vouchers→Select the Outlet Voucher→ Click Redeem while showing it to cashier→ Voucher amount will be transferred to Merchant Magicpin account.
Alternate Method:- Give the voucher code u received to the cashier→ he will enter it in his redeem section and Voucher amount will be transferred to Merchant Magicpin account.
[Note:- Local Vouchers have validity of 14days from date of purchase in which it can be used or can also be refunded back. If Refunded, Refund(Magicpoints + Money) will be processed back to original source]
3. Get 55% Off On Food Delivery (Magicorder)
Save 55% on Home Delivery of Food using Magicpoints.

Go to Account→ My Transactions→Click on Pay Bill→ Apply Coupon and Pay Remaining amount via other options like Card/Wallets/UPI.

What are FMCG Brands Voucher:- These are Vouchers of LOCAL GROCERY STORES for buying particular FMCG product like Gillette Fusion Razor, Tetley tea or Veeba products.
Let say u buy Gillette Fusion Voucher of Rs350 of any Nearby Grocery Store. So u will get a Voucher of Rs350 which needs to be redeemed at selected store and u will get Gillette Fusion Razor.
[Trick:- Even Though the voucher purchased is for buying Particular product but if have good relationship (shopkeeper-customer one) with merchant and if merchant agrees than one can BUY ANY GROCERY ITEMS FROM THE SHOP OF VOUCHER AMOUNT.
