2. Remote lock/erase the data

3. Request to block the stolen phone (May not work for every state*)

4. Forget about getting the phone back

Mera to FIR liya hi nahi. Lost report print kar ke de diya.

There is no suggestions forget your mobile, just replace your sims asap & get another phone. If your phone is connected with cloud, like mi cloud you can remotely locate your device, lock, delete data provided mobile is on condition & data connection is on.

Where and how it was stolen?

I was told by police station they will track the imei on mobile networks for two days. If found they will call. No call till now. Will check once.

You lost it or stolen?
Police will not give stolen report unless u can explain the stealing incident, wih u or someone witness.
Else they file lost report.

….2 times happened with me….it feels like the world has come to an end…and after 3 days u are playing with ur new toy….telling all ur friends how ur old mobile was so much better….😄

Cylinder theft is very common, especially in suburbs.

Everything happens as per rules in any stolen case and even the goods get discovered mostly (don’t just underestimate the police work), specially gadgets with tracking. Personally I’ve been involved in one or two such cases.. so I know that it’s not rocket science. But again, it’s a hell lot of ambiguity that whether it gets returned to the owner.. they have reservations there!

The only suggestion is forget about your mobile. Police will not do nothing . So always take extra care of your belongings specially mobile

Aur mobile me hamesha strong password ya screen lock rakho aur full data backup rakho hamesha. Agar chori bhi ho Jaye to koi data access na kar paye aur usko factory reset karna pade
