Precisely sbi gyftr worked fine while offer was going on till yesterday, thanks for testing amazon gv buying from amazon itself and posting.
SBI knows that we are bypassing their limitations (utilities/ bills/ insurance etc) using amazon GV. They can't be fools and keep taking losses forever.
These things will be patched definitely, don't get heart attacks, just enjoy till it lasts.

If not today, some day this is bound to happen( Like 5% in the past vs 2% now on gift card purchases on amazon with APay CC). They cannot reverse this cashback (since there's no explicit card term prohibiting rewards for gift card purchases) so haffun until this lasts (I'm sure cashback cardholders especially dimers would've earned much more than the 999 annual fee already so no serious regrets either)

But icici Apay also reversed some 1 or 2 months of past credits of cashback when they patched their loopholes.
