I have been using SBI simply click CC with 10k limit from past 4 months. I applied for that Card online. I have savings account with a SBI branch near to my locality. Few days back branch called me saying I got a pre-approved offer and I can get either Pulse or SimplySave none being LTF. I inquired them if they could just increase my current Card limit but they said they can't do that but assured me if I take either of Card that will come with a much higher limit. What should I do? I want to take private bank CC on c2c basis after a year so for that i will be needing a cc with much higher limit. Should I wait for SBI to increase my current SimplyClick cc limit or should i bite the bullet and take any of the pre approved card that as per Agent will come with much higher limit for better chance of approval for C2C from HDFC, Axis etc. and get it closed before second year

The 10k card is 4months old, you shouldn't be getting upgrades etc till 6 months. What does sbicard app say? Showing any preapproved card or upgrade or limit enhancement? Should NOT... Maybe bank agent is trying to cover his target.
Sbi said to me only two card possible per customer.
Once same happened to me from sbi branch got call. Later not approved they said because i have already two sbi card they can't approve 3rd
Well, OP isn't even now interested in to the point replies... while everyone is flashing their PSU cards...
This is the exact same way I got my simplysave card after getting fd based simplyclick card a few months earlier but don't believe the branch ppl regarding "much higher limit" as I was also told the same but eventually got just 10k more than my simplyclick card.
If i keep using my current 4 month old SimplyClick CC that has limit of only 10k, how much limit increase can i expect after say 6 months or 1 year of use. My Card spend is over a lakh yet my Credit Utlization is around 20%. Thats because i immediately pay the balance after utilizing the amount.
I am using sbi simplyclick limit 10k since 5 months. I spend around 170k by just reloading the card before use. and reached 80% usage many times. Now Getting this notification. What should I do ? My priority is limit enhancement
@the_Kirang Doesn't SBI have a fixed limit for each billing cycle? It didn't used to work above that even if prepaid/reloaded. Have things changed now?
I think No Fixed Limit. Despite my limit is 10k only. I have single transaction of ~15k+ many times and it's got successful each time with no penalties. But before transactions I make sure my limit won't exceed 100% at any time. Ex. If I want to transact 15 k then i will make balance as 17 k.. so after 15 transaction 2k will remain in card
@the_Kirang Is it a FD linked/based card?
It's not FD based card. Applied through agent and got with 10k limit.
But the limit given is my Concern.
I too got an option for BPCL today. 4 months old Simply Click holder. I also see that I can apply for another SimplyClick. Will you take? BPCL is also available in Rupay... Rupay offer coming for UPI linking just like amazon rupay platinum load every month. But reward redemption is only at fuel pump I guess... @satraghav
I took simplyclik.just worried about limit as my original was just 40k..I spilt it as 10(old),30(new)..Can we expect limit enhancement in future?
According to their PNO to whom I escalated a case recently, this gift voucher (to quote him) "is sent post 60 days of payment of annual fee". Tab tak ye log offer bhool jayege, decline karege, kuch bhi kar sakte hain. SBI cards hain - dumbest people of all in CC industry. Koi offer aisa tha hi nahin bol denge.
Btw, anyone got this additional SBI "preapproved" card which they promise you can "get instantly"? After applying for it, PNO se mereko absurd reply aaya "We thank you for showing interest in procuring SBI Card. However, we are constrained that we may not be are able to issue a credit card to you as unfortunately, the details furnished by you do not meet our internal policies set forth for issuance of credit card.
The reason for decline of your application is purely a business decision, taken in good faith and certainly in no way, is indicative of your credit worthiness. Please accept our sincere apologies towards discomfort caused to you in this regard.
It is our constant endeavor to ensure that our service drives positive customer experience. In your case, we truly apologize that we were unable to offer you our services."
WTF are they drunk or high or their right hand doesn't know their left hand? Pre-approved card which is offered to us by them to "get instantly" is declined?
Anyway I escalated to Customer Service Head since even PNOs in SBI cards are beyond terrible. It takes several back and forth emails and weeks for them to understand what the customer is saying.
I never got limit increase, new card offer on Simply click in last 2 years. Initial limit was 45k. Now 55k with income documents.
Take SBI bpcl, you will get high limit, soon you may get new Additional card offer in App itself like in 1 year
