Need Advice to Open a Digital Bank account

Open Kotak 811 or AU bank video KYC account. 

AU digital acc zero MAB for some offers & rupay platinum debit card(not free though) or kotak 811 acc with zero MAB & zero charges with a free virtual debit card(physical debit card is chargeable & one need to apply for it if needed).

I personally have DigiBank and Payment Bank account but hardly see any offers with low interest rate than what they were offering initially to get customers.

This is the case with almost any bank (Even the options you're considering now). Opt for the banking option which is more reliable and has better app experience & i think DBS is best among the lot (followed by IDFC First. Kotak 811 is good but its not stable all the time). Rupay Platinum DC is one reason why AU bank became popular & once the 20% money load offer expires next year (mostly it should), this won't be #1 recommendation anymore

Also RBI removed the debit card requirement for savings accounts, no bank is going to force anyone from this month (July 1)

I recently opened a Zero-balance AU Small Finance bank account for the Rupay Platinum debit card and other benefits and after using it for a few weeks, I switched to it for all UPI transactions instead of glitchy SBI. It's a big relief and I haven't faced any issues so far. Plus, the deal of the day offer is useful. Their customer care support is good. 

Kotak 811 is another option that I use frequently but comparing the two, I would suggest AU bank. 

@notion AU digital saving acc is best bank and zero balance + RuPay Platinum.

Every month you saved Rs100 on Amazon add money, annual saved Rs1200, lots of other offers also available on AU banks like sometimes 10% discount or cashback on Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart or huge discount+cashback offer on Swiggy etc.

I also need a Bank account for my wife, just for Gpay/UPIs. Any bank without video KYC. Am ok with submitting Docs and/or validating Aadhaar?

I actually have opened Niyox account but KYC cant be done as it is not available in my town. SBI yono  is giving me error as had SBI account long time back and it elapsed after I didnt submit KYC docs. Now I dont have the Account number  and patience to follow thru. AU Bank is also not available in my town. 

I have IDFC, so tried opening using my referral but it keeps getting stuck in the final page wherein it asks to transfer funds..

Have approached Axis bank as my company has account with them but even they are asking for VKYC despite me willing to submit doc in branch. So still confused..

You can open in kotak bank. It's very good offer

I closed my digibank account it had become useless. But have been using kotak 811 for more than 5-6 years. Recently opened fi account as well because i like app experience. As it's a federal card I can even use it for discounts if available.

Kotak is good in terms of service. I was trying to do international payment and every other card was failing even when international transactions were enabled. Only kotak one got processed so it's very consistent in that terms. Recently they even offered me League Platinum cc for LTF

Is it possible to use only virtual debit card in au bank online created savings account?

Is virtual debit card chargeable?

I can see NSDL debited Rs.5.90 as Service Charge (Monthly Service Fee Jul22) in Aug from my wife's account. Any way to avoid this charges?
