lol. Why no one even tries to check quality forums for checking technical specifications and its international reviews before recommending tv

My recommendation. If your budget is near 1 lakh. Defintely go for LG CX or C9 series OLED.. Better deal is Bx Series was on for 86k in the last sale with flipkart axis card

If your budget is around 60 to 70k

Get samsung frame 55 inch 2020 edition

If your budget is 50 to 60k.

This is the best anyone can get .high spec mostly reviews ny International reviwers. Most indian reviwers dont even know how much capable this tv is for such a low budget.

Its hisense qled full array led for 55k

OLED has a lot of issues and depends a lot on the ambient light. i wish buying OLED was that simple

Don’t go with smart TV. The specs will get outdated just like your phone in an year. Tvs are usually purchased for 5+ years. Just look for good picture quality you can make it smart later using devices like firestick etc. With this only your smart device will get outdated and you don’t have to throw the whole tv.

My VU LED TV had some display issue after 3 yrs of use. And the service centre says that display panel has to be replaced, can’t be repaired. Although I am not sure if this is the case with other LED TVs as well, but definitely wouldn’t recommend VU TV.

My Sony LCD TV purchased in 2009 is still going strong!

Lg offers limited 3 years warranty for its OLED tv. Do check in official LG website.

OLED may have issues with pixel burns. But they have sorted out those issues in present gen models with pixel refresh technology. Still few users have reported issues. But its only for those who keeps viewing same channel for long hours

Cx 2021 models are the best ones if you can afford 1.1 lakh. Advised not to get A series as its low brightness cant be used in well lit rooms.

if your prefernce is to view HDR movies with best picture quality and want only OLED then CX series is best.

If you are not confident about Oled.. if you want good picture quality and no limit in your budget get 9000 series sony they are equipped with more than 1000 nits which is well suited for HDR content

If your budget is below 70k get samsung frame tv 2020 . 2021 model has less contrast and brightness but suitable for games as its response rate is less..if you are gamer get 2021 edition..if you want just for media consumption get 2020 edition.

At last if you are on tight budget get hisense qled full array . this has picture quality as good as many high end tv like samsung frame with even better brightness. Buy this if you are not brand cautious but need best picture quality in lowest possible. This tv is even better than samsung frame in many aspects like contrast brightness deep blacks. Always buy such tvs which has okay after sales service with atleast 3 years extended warranty. Although would recommend extending warranty for all tv these days...as its pure luck if your tv lasts more than 3 years.

I am just a noob in Tv tech aspects. I got all these info by going through avsforums international website wgere discussion about every best tv goes on. Most of the best budget hisense models in US got rave reviews in 2019 ..which are relaunched in india in 2020 Sept with rebranding as Toshiba u79 series (Vida OS) in limited pieces.  This had 700 nits brightness with full array Led backlighting. But was available only in limited nos.  hisense launched 2020 full array backlighting with Qled panel which got rave reviews in 2020 US ..now in india they relaunched it..

TCL launched pretty good vfm Tv's in US. But launches crap quality tv's in india. They treated india as dumping ground for all their low end models. Even their qled is a kind of low quality compared to the ones they sell in US. Hisense although didnt do exactly the same. Atleast they launch their flagship tv's in india after almost 2 years they launch in US. Hisense doesnt have good marketing or dont pay reviewers as much as xiaomi and relame does..so these brands are mostly not recommended by our indian tv reviewers . but these hisense models has cult following in tv expert forums.

little we knew Panasonic GX800 series is the best value for money back in 2020. But Panasonic spoiled it by launching IPS panel version in india with same model. I had to back off at the last minute and bought U79 toshiba for 46k in reliance with 3 years warranty. Also The same Panasonic has the best OLED tv in the world Although panel is mfg by LG only. But they failed to launch in india. Ez1000 OLED got rave reviews for its excellent natural life like colors in any tv launched till date with almost professional color grading. All i could see was GZ950 models selling in tatacliq for 1.6 lakhs for 65 inch OLED TV.

our indian tech reviewers are still stuck with Mi realme oneplus vu and basic version of samsung lg sony models. all they tell is quality is good compare tv and read out spec sheets and tell its good avg bad. Although there are some like techiebeez vmone ..they too are not upto the level of those international reviwers. Sometimes i do get doubt that techiebeez lady copies all the review part from Rtings website. I do see same stuff what she tells in YouTube channel in rtings website too. But atleast had to applaud her efforts in bringing quality content to indian consumers in the bunch of speec sheet readers.

Xiaomi kodak blaupunkt are company thats cheating indian consumers with really low quality panels..realme oneplus are ok types. Hisense and toshiba bsically same company with diffrent OS (vida lunux based for toshiba, Android for Hisense)- are the only low end VFM tv's in india. People who want dumb TV can look out for Toshiba . its linux based boots super fast. Less apps. If you want more apps get a firestick. I am just using it with google tv dongle. Rest all tv brands in india are of crap quality. Vu basically makes the tv by outsourcing to hisense. So buying hisense toshiba or vu doesnt gonna make any diffrence.

.i  really wish our tech reviewers to level up their skills in reviewing the tv like the  professional youtube channel for tv reviews - HDTVtest,  Rtings global tv ratings website, avsforums - forums for tv discussions.

For indian site on best tv reviews get in touch with experts in hifivision website.

Bought LG 43UP7550PTZ 4K during last year festival sale from Croma at 30k. Now sharing experience of TV on basis couple of months. Also comparing with bestseller Mi 4x 50, Mi 43 4A and Mi horizon 43 FHD and are owned by family members.

*Design and build – 9/10

It is LG and this 7750 model series comes with slim bezels and overall strong  build. The Magic remote also is good quality and has weight to it.

* Hardware – 6/10

The internals are very basics . Chip can play 4K HDR smoothly. Chip is capable of running UI,  Switching to apps smoothly. BUT it has 2GB of available storage. ONLY 1 USB port.

* Picture Quality – 8/10

The colour reproduction is pretty good except black though LG hasn’t mentioned IPS panel ( I thought it was VA initially but as per experience so far it has to be IPS).

Blacks aren’t good if you are viewing  “The Wheel of Time” Lots of dark scenes.  You know well “The black is the new grey” if you are using IPS) . IPS is advantage if using TV in hall or Living room. Previously I installed Mi Horizon and it was horrible experience as colour shift was at extreme levels like even if you shift 10 degree from straight of  the tv you are loosing 15-20% of colours. At 30 deg shift , the experience was horrible.

Incomparison to Mi TVs, the viewing angles are pretty good no color shift ( huge problem with VA on Mi TVs). The Mi 4A 43 which is oldest one in family got IPS panel and has almost similar viewing angles as LG.

Because it is IPS on LG , the active HDR doesn’t make any  significant difference as black will be dark grey on HDR content and not black and it is fine for this budget.

*Sound – 9/10

It scores way better than Mi tvs as they lacks deep sound and dialogue listening experience is below average. This LG tv has 20W speakers but provides better experience at 15-17 volume levels to experience daily soap / news for 14×16  living room. And one can enjoy movies/ web series at 20-30. Bass is pretty good for a TV. Also sometimes, I enjoy sound output from Mobile using ThinqAI app and listening it through wired earphones from my phone (0 secs of delay or lag).

*Software – 7/10

The advantage of webos is, it is simply made for entertainment experience. The are 4 OTA updates to webos so far. There are pretty good and detailed customisation for picture, sound and other settings. You can use Web and TV  at same time.  The only and biggest disadvantage is lack of casual games. Pretty basic flappy bird clones , word play etc are available. Pacman is available.

*Magic Remote-  10/10

This is the best part. With inbuilt scrolling wheel amd mouse pointer , ot is easy to access and select content on TV. Also You can customise numerical keys for short keys. Also acts as Universal remote for all DTH services. Has 3 Voice recognition services with 3 buttons- Alexa, Google and LG AI. Has Netflix, prime Disney hotstar, Movies buttons.  Previously it was available for ₹ 2.5-3K. Now it is available at ₹1k or less.

Price – 7/10

I bought it at flash sale for 30k. It was good deal for me as mi tv 4k was priced at 25k for 43 4K version and was getting older mi 4x 50 inch at ₹27k. LG 43" 4k 2021 model is generally priced at ₹43-45k (for 7750 and same specs but defferent online-only model 7720). I think 43" 4K non OLED or non QLED shouldn’t cost more than 35k ( for premium brands like Sony, LG and Samsung) and 27k for MI, VU, Oneplus and others .

I think the ask here is to help identify best TV’s in each ‘Size’ segment. But because of ‘poll’ added to the thread, it looks like the OP is looking for recommendations to buy his/her next TV!!

I’ll start with the lowest size segment which is 32 inches. I would not suggest a TV but a monitor & android tv box combo which is LG Ultragear  32 inch QHD (2K) Gaming Monitor along with Mi 4K Box (Android).

What is the current best price for 55c1, 55G1?

Deal Cadet Deal Cadet

Oled Prices have come down to less than 90k. So its always my first choice who wants to get a TV with great picture quality is LG oled. My cousin has been using 65 inch C8 oled bought back in 2018. Going good . He said he is unable to watch other LED tv as the OLED picture quality is way high than any TV in that budget. C series under 1 lakh , B series under 90k are total vfm . QD oled may be next thing but to get to the vfm factor it may take a couple of years. Until then i would recommend lg oled as their price doesnt hurt your pocket . plus the 3 years warranty is icing on cake. Get extra 2 years added to 3 years…you are good to go for 5 years. Nowdays its all pure luck for a tv to last more than 3 years. Even sony samsung lg is not spared. Always get extended warranty.

If you can spend any amount for the picture quality. Then samsung Qled full array led q95 or q90na or q80 series would be great. It has better color gamut and better brightness than OLED tv. The only thing which it lacks when compared to Oled is deep blacks and contrast. But i feel samsung charges way more than any companies for its q80 q90 q95 series. They are premium tv of samsung. Buy this if there is no limit in your budget. But i didnt mention in the previous threads because of VFM factor. The amount of upgrade you are getting for the cost they ask is too much.

My third choice will be sony 9000 series which has full array backlighting. You would get these for 90k to 1.1 lakh during sales. They have good brighteness and decent contrast and colors tuned to almost perfect to watch HDR movies. Plus the amount of settings in this tv allows you to do professional picture calibration. Great tv for those work in creative fields like fashion art animation.

Finally hisense qled full array tv is the best choice for thoss who cant afford much for a tv. But still wants good picture quality.
