I activated my Prime from here for free – https://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-onlin...
So if u have anybody already using Airtel Wi-Fi plan, Postpaid or prepaid 249 plan, then login to their Airtel Thanks app, activate offer from there, when it redirects to Amazon m-web Prime, simply logon & u vil b Prime

Well, there is another plan 449 which offers same benefits for 56 days.. So on calculation its only 225/month for same benefits. The difference amount 125 is nothing but for amazon prime. So, logically speaking Amazon prime with airtel is not free. I would rather pay 999 for a year..

Its same like exchanging FK with Amazon voucher. Some coupon are exclusively for renewing of Prime only. It can be converted to amazon pay balance if i give them voucher

This 999 thing is not gonna last long. If we are looking for discounts when it’s 999, i wonder what’d we do when Amazon hikes it to what it’s in the US 99 dollars. The amount of Cashback Amazon gives you a month , current pricing for the membership is practically free.

I agree, just trying the possibilities smile

At the same time, increasing it beyond may reduce the renewal of amazon prime membership. They will definitely see a decline in people opting for it. For India’s market 999 is optimum, anything more will not workout

Even 999 won’t work. Everyone got prime using student 50% cashback code and Also huge offers those days. These subscription things are gonna take another decade to come to main stream.

There is no offer on Amazon Prime renewal.

The best you can do is buy Amazon gv on discount and then use gv balance for renewal. You may also eligible for the offer “Join prime at 999 and get Amazon Pay offers worth 999”. This one. It’s valid till 31st Jan.

one of the very हींग लगे न फिटकरी, रंग भी चोखा आए way of getting prime via thirdparty offers (like BSNL, Airtel, consumer goods/ dealers, banks offers).

only thing to note is that, in any purchases by thirdparties/ offers given by them to end-user: the account management rights too are retained by that party.
or, in simple words, Amazon disowns any access to or help in managing stuff that they might have done .. if Prime was purchased directly from Amazon.
·—·
stuff like?
·—·
in usual course, in U.S. of A, missed G.D.D. (Guaranteed Delivery Date) more often than not, automatically triggers the “extension” of Prime subscription by a month.

in less mature or newer markets, like India too, one can reach out to them if the GDD lapsed without your fault and product remaining undelivered.
.
but since shipping charges for FBA Prime Deliveries are waived off already, there is no real way of settling the “guarantee”… than to extend the subscription as per their S.O.P.s

this said procedure can not be followed by the CSA even if they want to, because for prime taken via third parties, such feature/concessions giving tool.. will not be enabled for the Customer Service Agent to execute on one’s account.
Rest everything else remains same, works fit and fine and knowing Amazon, even in such cases, for their genuine customers: they WILL work out something.
.
.
.
.
.
last i personally/directly enquired, that Youth Offer from AmazonIN was still ON.
but that entails spending 999 + 500
as in, buy prime > 500 is not back to source > but given in APAY > use/spend that 500 via Amazon/third party merchants.
.
.
I triple checked if one can avoid PANumber and simply make do with photo ID proof and address proof
but nope, PA Number/copy of PAN card is a prerequisite.
.
.
hopefully older passports with photo and address in same scan/page are acceptable for photo and address.
.
she seemed like a typical new joinee or hesitant agent who kept putting on hold to “let me check” or we are not supposed to e-mail TnC, I can send you the link though.
.
so i hung up, but better sense prevailed on her and she did send the documented terms (i needed to forward the same verbatim to elseone)

Message From Customer Service

Hello,

This is Satyam from the Amazon.in Prime Specialist Team.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

As per our telephonic conversation about the Prime BSNL plan , as long as customer has a BSNL mobile postpaid plan of Rs.399 and above. Or landline broadband plan of Rs.745 and above; the membership for that particular year is FREE.

Steps to sign up for the BSNL plan are ;

1) Open www.portal.bsnl.in and click on Amazon Prime and BSNL offer banner

2) On the authentication page, login with your eligible BSNL number and contact details to generate an OTP

3) On successful authentication, you will get a pop-up with offer details. Tap on “Activate Now” to avail the offer

4) You’ll be rerouted to Amazon to continue the process.

5) If you’re an existing Amazon customer then ‘Sign In’ using your Amazon credentials for starting Amazon Prime Video service or create a new account if you’re not an existing user

6) You should now see “Welcome to Amazon Prime” page which means your Prime subscription including Prime Video is now activated

You will get an email or an SMS confirming that your Prime subscription has been activated

I hope this helps.

Have a good day.

Warmest regards,
Satyam
