As per TRAI guidelines, all channel companies have announced tariffs for their channels.
The new rates are applicable from Dec 29 onwards.
All charges mentioned are applicable per month.
TRAI can make plan of ₹130/month compulsary for all which contains access for 100 free to air [SD] channels, not paid channels.

As of now, all providers have declared their tariffs and only tata sky & videocon have agreed to fta terms, other dth operators yet to confirm.
Above that, if you want to watch paid channels then you will have to pay as per the rates mentioned below.
One positive percept for customer is we can pay for each paid channel separately.
LMAO. The grey haired chimpanzee of TRAI talked about how you should only pay for the channels you watch, and in current scenario it was not possible according to him, so they fixed it. How? By forcing 25 DD channels to us.
When will the circus end for God’s sake! Can’t take it any more, too many of them going at same time!

Official Statement :
The Authority has noticed that there are messages circulating in the
media that there may be a black-out of existing subscribed channels on TV
screens after December 29, 2018. The Authority is seized of the matter and
hereby advises that all Broadcasters/DPOs/LCOs will ensure that any
channel that a consumer is watching today is not discontinued on
29.12.2018. Hence, there will be no disruption of TV Services due to
implementation of the new regulatory framework. Keeping in view the
interest of the subscribers and to enable a smooth transition, the Authority
is preparing a detailed Migration Plan for all the existing subscribers. The
migration plan will provide ample opportunity to each and every subscriber
for making informed choice. This will also enable service providers in
carrying out the various activities as stipulated in the new regulatory
framework in a time-bound manner.
Nothing is postponed.
Implementation will start from 29th December and TRAI will give some days for migration.
As per the implementation schedule all the service providers are required to complete the preparation for migration to new framework by December 28, 2018.
All major dth providers like Tata Sky , videocon, dish tv… supposed to complete the migration by 1st Jan 2019.
But as this is complex and all people are not aware of this, TRAI may provide a timeline ( till 31st Jan 2019) in which customers have to take their channels.
Notification banner will come on TV, if a customer doesn’t select channels within prescribed timeline ,then the transmission will be stopped.
I won’t choose any channels. I want my transmission to be stopped. Good luck TRAI.
There is no reference to the news of TRAI pausing its order except on the Telegraph. It is not even on TRAI’s website.
I doubt the news of the Telegraph.
Hope is still alive. I am ready to jump the bandwagon and will select only those channels that me and my family see instead of those 500 odd.

DishTV, TataSky and Airtel hasn’t started the implementation.
They will loot the customers till the time they can. Just a day to go and they haven’t rolled out the subscription form.

Channels pricing on all the platforms will be same going forward. That is because the pricing will be decided by the broadcasters and not the distributors.
Tata Sky will be the biggest loser. It ripped off its customers for many years.
Any updates about existing annual packs?
I am expecting end of loot by distributors in the name of annual packs by the upcoming changes. I am currently paying 6.5k+ for annual pack + 250/month for additional connection.
All updates related to new tariff plans, already existing plans will be cleared by all operators on today or tomorrow.

I do not see any option to choose new plan on Videocon dth site. any idea what will be charges tomorrow. currently charges are 13.89 per day(4999 per annum) for almost all HD and non HD channels. will they start charging for all channels as per new rates from tomorrow which should be very high
You and me are sailing in similar boats. I am paying 6.5k+ on DishTV.
Believe me, we will be benefited for sure from this order, unless you want to see all those 500+ channels.
DishTV too has not started the process on its website, neither is TataSky or Airtel. They will not start charging the new tariff starting tomorrow. The migration process is starting tomorrow and you have time till 31-Jan.
Opposing new tariff implementation, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Cable Operators Joint Action Committee has decided to block all pay channels from their platforms from 10 am to 8pm tomorrow.

Dish TV, Tata Sky, Airtel hasnt started implementing the order. There are no ways to opt for channels as per TRAIs order and today is 29-Dec-18 ! I just called up DishTV and they said that the deadline is extended so they have not rolled out the new system !
The indifference is evident that how much do they care about customers’ interest.
Do you guys really think that they are not implementing the order because they care about the customers’ interest ?
Are they defying the order or delaying the implementation because they want the customers to get benefited by current pricing policies ?
Do you think those who kept sports channel pricing to as high as Rs.90/month with a lock-in of 3 months to 6 months will easily allow the customers to pay only Rs.19/month ?
Do you think they want to serve the nation ?
Do you think that they would have delayed the implementation of any pricing policy that might have enabled them to rip-off the customers even more ?
If answer to any of the above questions is YES then I am speechless. Then all those who think that TRAI is doing a favor to DTH distributors are right.
My sincere Namaskar to all those who believe that the indifference of delaying the implementation of the TRAI order by DTH platforms is in the interest of consumers and not for themselves.

They are saying that we will contact you once we get instructions regarding this matter.
I guess some major dth providers are not going to update their website with new tariff plans at least by 10th January.

I see b**bs I press like 
1. LCOs under report users always, so they’ll continue so, and prices would same as before 150-250, for their customers. They don’t even have system in place to manage individual house hold choices. They are small fish, so they can escape. Below two categories would be in trouble.
2. Big cable operators can be forced to set up systems which is cumbersome for them as it needs more investment. And they don’t give a flying F to customer choices. They can be under system audit. Even they under report customer base.
3. Dth operators are big fish, so easy to go after them. Likely to lose big from this new system. As broadcasters can force to system audit etc, can’t easily under report. So if they completely implement the rule. Their package prices would sky rocket. So
they will continue to be reluctant about customer oriented schemes.
So if you are a subscriber of DTH and don’t know what to watch and want to keep all channels then get ready for a bumpy ride ahead. LCO customers just chill.
Simple man simply thinks that DTH operators are doing Seva for their subscribers by delaying the implementation of TRAI order !
Simple man is so simple that he believes that others would agree with him about TRAI being hand in glove with DTH operators. He says TRAI’s order is going to benefit DTH operators but they are so gentleman and charitable that they are sacrificing their profits in the interest of their subscribers by not implementing it !!

Maine 1179 diye the 3 saal ke liye aur baccha cartoon pack dekhta hai bas jo 36 ka hai. 1179 ke hisab se 32 rupye NCF pada, 36 ka pack. Ab koi batayega kis tarah se sasta pada? Agar dish TV ke regular Bharat Pack ka abhi ka NCF bhi lete hain to 99+36 hota hai to shayad 183+bouquet charges extra isse kam hi hoga.

I think someone (quite obvious who) is a bit mentally challenged here! Or what do you call it nowadays, differently abled? Yeah that then, LMAO.
First of all, no sport channel is out there which costs Rs.90 PM, NONE. They come under a package, like the cricket channels, at around Rs. 75 PM, which includes all the cricket showing channels obviously. I don’t watch cricket, so I don’t know how many, but I can guess about 3 or 4 channels. So do the math on per-channel basis rate accordingly, take help of calculator if you are unable, umm, differently-abled.
Under new TRAI rule, a solitary sport channel could be at its maximum price, which is NOT Rs. 19 by the way, which is Rs. 22.42, who is differently abled to not count the GST rate? Lol.
In any case, we have till January 31, till then we can enjoy what we are watching now, at current rate; which is the normal rate, with the sensible, no-nonsense packages. After that new order will have to be implemented. However, I highly hope in this pending time something happens which wipes off the morons from this nation (and worldwide), along with the dumb chimpanzees, because at current rate you’ll be given instructions about how to live in your own residence or spend your own money in no time at all. Only nature can take care of this sorcery, I think the good humans won’t be able to.
In Airtel DTH, I am now getting prices along the channel names.. anyone know how to make a pack out of these.
The intention was to complete the implementation by 29-Dec-18. But as you know out DTH operators will not leave any opportunity to loot us, they did not even put up the plan on their website till today – 29-Dec-18.
Since TRAI did not get the cooperation, the gave a direction. Under a new direction, Cable and DTH operators have been ordered to put up their new plans and schemes on their website by end of day today. And the migration process has to be completed before 31-Jan-19. If by then they do not comply they have to deactivate the subscriber and lose the revenue.
The way the DTH operators are taking us for a ride and the seriousness that they show to follow the order, you will see a very slow implementation. It is also possible that still try to scuttle the whole process. As of now they will simply update their sites with the new rates but they will not roll-out the process to subscribe them.

Nowadays it is season of abuses ! When there is no logic, it is best to abuse people, a few people may enjoy the show – that is the policy.
It is generally called shoot and scoot.
For such people it is difficult to reason with any logic. It is not possible for them to reason that if it is the DTH platform who is going to benefit because of the TRAI order then why they are not implementing it ? They are on so much of high that they feel that the DTH is doing Seva for it consumers ! For them the DTH is allowing them to enjoy till Jan 31 and that is the charity that they are doing for their customers !!
These people come from a different planet. Since they come from the clan of scamsters, fraudsters and liers they can see only those things that the dynasts of the country show to them. These people have no understanding of history. Since they come from that clan they feel that everything in this country must be plagued by scams and frauds. The country got freedom in 1947 but it requires another freedom from dynasts. I am hopeful that a day will come when we get the real freedom. These super humans, then will become human as there will be no one to feed the poison.

More operators can declare the tariffs overnight.
Most of the cable operators have declared their NCF as 130 rs.
As per the trend, most of the dth operators are going to charge NCF = ₹130 (plus taxes).
It will be a big surprise if any major dth operator declares NCF below ₹130.
We are getting what we want in 99/month. this will be making us pay more.. almost double (including taxes it will be 160-170)

Yes, the channels enjoying the top ten highest viewership are pricey – all at Rs.19 + tax = Rs.22.42. But I can see that others channels are at the rates published by broadcasters. Interesting thing is that they have also come up with 25 combo packs too. One of them is

Ek side trai khud bol raha hai ki ek insaan on average 40-50 channel hi dekta hai, phir 100 channels chipkake 130 rs le rahe ncf ke naam pe…iska kya logic hua.
