Hi Dimers, I am planning to visit thailand and came across Niyo global card for forex requirements. Could anyone experienced with this card tell me its reviews and any hidden charges as they say it levies 0 forex charges and no joining or annual fee.
Also do let me know if there is any other product with better features than this?

I have it....
No charges at all for pos or e com transaction. Though there are charges while withdrawing cash from international atms 100+GST and if there are any atm charges.
Fi is alternative having same features

Be careful of Niyo products in general, bank often gets suspended and locked without a good reason, I had my savings in the bank and after numerous tweets and their community posts, I took all my money out of there. I used Niyo card only in Dubai couple of weeks back. It was accepted everywhere. For places where tap to pay didn't work (due to limit on max payment one can do using tap), inserting card and entering PIN worked.
ATM withdrawal was also smooth and no issues.
I would recommend the card. I used to make sure that I only have money I may need (daily), in the Niyo account so as not to keep lot.
I also used it for Loyalty Lounge Access on Mumbai T2 International terminal.
What about 5% tcs? How to get tcs refund?
Thanks guys for your reviews. Also what is this 5% tcs collection funda on every transaction and when will I get refund if I dont spend 7 lakhs in the year? Any referal benefits?

I use Niyo Global rarely for international travel but use it often for international ecommerce purchases from here which I ship to some relative or friend coming to India. Always got the lowest/best rate.
How to get 5% tcs refund?
I have opened account with Niyo global and added 5000 and ordered physical card. After ordering I have transfered those 5000 to my account and the balance in Niyo global account is 0. Will it create any issues in card delivery??

It was pretty good when I visited thailand during Nov 2022. No hidden charges involved.

I have niyo global sbm bank . recently used in dubai
Go for it , hassle free for successful transactions , no extra charges
only problem is declined transaction. My 2 transactions were declined still waiting for refund. other wise its smooth to use. cash withdrawal has 150+gst per transaction
