after login, go to e-services >> ATM Card Services >> Request ATM/Debit Card >> Select Type of the card >> SBI Classic Domestic RuPay debit card >> submit.
NOTE:- SBI RuPay Classic Debit card is FREE. Also no annual charges. i recommended all SBI users apply RuPay card to support Digital India. you can also use 2 or 3 debit cards on SBI account. it means if you already have SBI VISA/Mastercard, no need to block your existing VISA/Mastercard, you can use SBI RuPay + VISA/Mastercard both. SBI RuPay card is FREE, so use SBI RuPay card as a secondary card and avoid foreign transaction using VISA/Mastercard.

Applied SBI "RuPay Classic" card from yono app but surprisingly received SBI "RuPay Global Contactless NCMC debit card"
Card back side Discover, Diners club & pulse logo mentioned for International E-com, POS & ATM payment.
Note - Its Debit + Prepaid card, Prepaid option only use for offline contactless payment in Metro, Bus, Parking and Retail POS payment etc.
RuPay give separate Contactless Prepaid wallet option for contactless payment, load money through SBI net banking and use for offline Contactless payment.

- The Customer cannot have any other Savings Bank Account, if he/she has a Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account. If the customer already has a Savings Bank Account, the same will have to be closed within 30 days of opening a Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account.
- Maximum 4 withdrawals in a month, including ATM withdrawals at own and other Bankâs ATMs and transactions through other mode including RTGS/NEFT/Clearing/Branch cash withdrawal/transfer/internet debits/standing instructions/EMI, etc. No further customer debits would be allowed during the month.

SBI is probably the best bank among psu banks even if it is worse than major pvt banks. Anyway this applies only to their debit cards, SBI credit cards have customer support comparable to pvt banks cards because sbi credit cards is a different entity under pvt management separate from sbi bank which is govt controlled management.

@abhishek012 Bhai, does SBI have RuPay Platinum Debit Card ? I can only see Classic variants of RuPay and Platimum variants of Visa/Master.
Also one more question, is the classic rupay debit card totally free ? no annual and issuance charge ? Asking this because now I have some normal classic variant which charges me 125+gst, and I literally donât use it for anything.
