Did i miss something related to kyc? Paytm is asking me to do kyc again and enter pan card or form 60. I have already completed kyc when creating account in 2012-13 whenever. i am unable to transfer money/pay to anyone from my wallet nor can i recharge mobile number from paytm wallet. I havent linked upi.
This problem seems to be recent as the last transaction was done in august in paytm (auto-subscription of eazydiner and subsequent refund).
So did something happen related to kyc or is it account specific? Has anyone else faced this issue? And what can be the solution apart from the obvious rekyc and giving pan.

As per rbi rules – every bank and fi need to update kyc in 10 years.
So if you done kyc in 2012 then your kyc need to be redone in 2022 or before.
For me, it’s mobikwik. Asking for re-kyc
They are asking it to everyone because the seem to have messed up something
It happened to me last year, no other way but do re-KYC
I guess, after my wallet(no bank a/c) was idle for many months I added money and tried to send someone so re-KYC appeared
This Is I THINK…
Full Kyc Is Valid For 10 Years… As You Have Mentioned 2012… 10 Years Is Getting Completed Almost
Please rekyc
How you look after 10 years, they just want to know.
simply do it if you want to keep using paytm. I too got this some months ago. Had to go to a kyc point. After biomertric verification they sent a letter with a QR code and my account was activated on scanning it. Fighting with them is useless. KYC is the fastest way to solve this. And re kyc is not a very big ask to be fair.
It might be triggered if you transferred from wallet to bank. I am not sure though. I did transfer a refunded amount to bank shortly before it was initiated for me.
NO IDEA,
MAY BE THEY WANT RE KYC AS IT VERY LONG LAST KYC WAS DONE.
SAME PROCESS IS DONE IN BANKS ALSO.
