Paytm Citibank CREDIT CARD FINAL CASHBACK

CITIBANK is not crediting the cashback(rs101) earned on spends of final statement of Feb 2023,the Card is showing as closed with cashback credit still pending,I have paid the total due amount deducting the cashback to be credited.Rs101 is showing as my outstanding balance since last 3 days.

Should i wait for credit or pay the outstanding amount ,? will it effect my CIBIL?They are saying matter will be resolved in 2 business days since 3 weeks

What was ur bill date? I paid my Feb bill minus cb even before Feb bill generation and got cb normally 2 days after bill generation around 18th and didn't pay anything. Card got closed on 1st March with 0 outstanding.

Was ur bill date end of February, which moved cashback date after card closed?

Statement date was 20th Feb with last date for bill payment as 9th March,previously the cashback got credited to account in two days of bill generation,but not happened this time.

Oh, that's weird then. Mine was just 2-3 days before yours and got it credited on time.

Was ur card closed before 1st March?

Card got closed after statement generation on 20th

Ok, then that may be the reason. In my case, it was active till 28th Feb and closed on 1st March only.

please check their email once thoroughly, I guess it was mentioned somewhere that any outstanding amount shall be paid back, probably you need to get in touch with them for that

also, Citibank's customer care is very good, at least they understand what you're trying to say and act upon it unlike other bank's customer care executive where you probably must be knowing more than them about their products

in my case, I too had around Rs. 17 posted as cashback which I utilized by adding that amount to Big Basket wallet and the last statement generated for me had NIL amount as outstanding and card is closed now peacefully 😊
