I got a message today that my phonepe account is blocked for security reasons..& now unable to login… anyone faced the same?

2. Just like you did random comment here about data leaked, someone else must have did the same on Facebook. Need source not just any random guy by a random guy on Internet.

Then go ask to the officials and wait for reply.. like we all r doing… Mass blocking of account that too kyc verified is not a joke…

I don’t need to contact officials cause my account is not blocked. stuck_out_tongue

Mostly all fraudsters account were blocked who were using it on fk or multiple devices.

I wanted to confirm regarding the data leaked post you did and it seems like it was fake. Good luck with getting your account back.

Already had a chat with cc, they told me there is some merchant fraud. So that’s why they are blocking the account. I don’t have any other details regarding the merchant fraud.

It doesn’t matter if you are using “one account” for x no. of days, multiple account holders do get blocked eventually.

Phonepe promised a resolution and reply by 18th Apr. 2018 – 10:50 PM. Well they have not replied yet.

well thinking about making a complain on og portal or consumer rights authority. Blocking of a KYC verified account is not a joke.

The bad part is RBI has put lots of regulations to control fraud of individuals but they forgot to put a leash on these wallet services. I mean wallet services are obliged to verify customer KYC but what if they use it for wrong purpose after getting the details.

Blocking of a wallet account is not a big deal but what will happen with the personal information I’ve had to share with them. How am I suppose to know they will destroy those personal information and will not use it for any wrong purpose ?

Same here… And issue is also of, the money or gold investment anything, which is there in individual’s wallet…

Stopped using Paytm & was using phonepe bcoz they were giving CB without any kyc…btw we all should lodge complaints regarding it

They said sorry and asked to wait till 9PM tonight
Again No call/mail/sms

Poor customer service.

Call on their official contact no. They ll ask ticket no. Which u should have received on mail.. they ll surely help u… My account got unblocked today…

They may be blocking accounts for violation of any of there standards terms, such as one person having multiple wallets. This can be established in the following manner:
1. Logging in with multiple IDs from the same device
2. Using same credit/debit card for transactions with different IDs.
3. Recharging/bill payment of same number from different IDs.

Can anyone confirm account blocked without any of the above 3 conditions.
