PhonePe charging extra for payment via credit card?

When paying using phonepe in petrol pump, phone pe has cut 505 instead of 500 and 151.5 instead of 150 when paid via credit card. That’s like 1% more. Did anyone face similar problem? or is it only for petrol pump there is a surcharge?

It’s probably credit card…. When I pay directly on Petrol Pumps using credit card it chrges usually 1% extra….. Phonepe might have nothing to do with it….. to confirm you can use other payment ways like upi or debit card. See if charges 1% extra too….
