LMG850EMW.AIN V BK Vietnam
LMG850EMW.A IND BK India
Hi its for the operator abbreviation . There are 2 models floating around
1. Indian Manufactured ones : These were only a few lucky ones and I am one of them . Operator Abbreviation for these models are IND .
2. Vietnam Manufactured ones : These were with that festive WFH sale edition and most of the units . Operator Abbreviation for these models are INV
How to check your Operator abbreviation .
-Go to website http://www.lgbbs.com/plugin.php?id=lg_mobil...ei
-Enter your IMEI number *#06#
-Check your operator abbreviation code .
This way you should select the correct product while registering your device.
Some additional fun facts
1. Indian Manufactured Model Number is LMG850EMW
2. Real Vietnam Manufactured Model Number is LMG850EMW1 inspite of it showing LMG850EMW on the Box & Software . How do I know . Check the link above & the open Source code ( https://opensource.lge.com/osSch/list?types=ALL... )
3. MOST IMPORTANT – Fastboot mode is not available on Vietnam devices![]()
Indian Devices have fastboot mode available. But even on Indian devices bootloader unlock is not available as we require an Unlock key from LG , which needs to be requested using your IMEI and a device id which you get from a fastboot command . As I have an Indian device and fastboot works I tried applying for bootloader unlock key but LG till now is not provide bootloader unlock key for these devices.

There is a review in flipkart which is 27 days old, he bought it in 40k and all praise for the phone but now he would be repenting by seeing a 50% discount in less than 1 month. I can feel for the guy
Is there anybody else other than @PaytmKaPoojari who got charger. He is the only king here

Yes Me
aeroman wrote:With poco f1 charger, its charging at only 970mA. Very slow charging. Wireless is ok.. its the same speed as poco f1 charger directly. Wireless with a old wireless charger is around 800mA.
Charge with screen off and see how much time it took for full charge and compare it with how much time poco f1 took as both have same battery., looking at instant current in an app will not tell you the correct picture

I think we have to tweak in battery settings to enable quick charge. I read somewhere.
My G8X is still on the way. Once I received I will post here.

Bro, one point to ask, why anyone will sell 55k device at 18-19k. Had it not included the second display, price could have been cheaper by 5k atleast. Then whole India would have jumped to buy this device. It has amoled, that’s why PWM is kind of visible, which will strain eyes

I see it as a planned marketing to reach out to the users who want such phones as it was unable to sell off.
It’s not for everyone. Even at original price even with a 5k cut I don’t think much of people would have bought it.
So it was just a marketing stunt to push the idea of phone to the user as its a new thing and people don’t know how good it is unless they use it.

definition of cheap is subjective, getting an iphone in 40k is cheap for some, and getting a screenguard for 50rs is cheap for some. Now coming to the headphones for this what is the cheapest option available which is VFM or better create price ranges and tell best VFM item n the range
PS: good headphone can range from 1k to 10 lakhs

Good pair of headphones starts from 4-5k, Shure comes at 7-8k.

Pulse Width Modulation. It is used to control brightness of the display. Watch youtube reviews, you will notice that some lines are coming down as a wave. That’s because of PWM. Effects are prominent during low brightness operation. During low brightness, brightness does not get lowered, PWM control system rapidly switch off and switch on the leds. Modern displays come without it but OLEDs use PWM.
Android 12 is available on this phone
