I dont know how to check. I am in an area where 4G is poor. Oneplus 7 catches 4G well and decent speeds, LG G8X struggles.

4. If tower is very near and visible to you, you may not get enough signal strength from that tower. You might be getting poor signal from some other tower which is little far away.
Even if you are just below the tower, you won’t get signal from that tower. It happens because of the directional antennas used by operators.

my phone has yellow tint on extended screen, main screen feels white where as extended screen is little yellowish.
Its more noticeable on wide screen mode on chrome or other app, there is a huge color difference on both screen

it is normal as every case screen can’t be calibrated with the respective main phone bundled as each phone display has a different characteristic. you can minimize it by adjusting the main screen to match the dual screen in settings.
More over these 2 screens are not same. Main screen has has L shaped ribbon, fingerprint sensor cutout and supports wide color gamut and gorilla glass 6, where the case screen has straight ribbon, no finger print sensor cutout, no wide color gamut support and gorilla glass 3.

Step 1 : Backup existing partitions using qfil . Long process but a must. In case u have linux use edl client it is a one click solution ( https://github.com/bkerl...dl ). Tried on windows 10 couldnt get it to work
Step 2 : Setup LGUP to flash KDZ
(1. Download and install:

The fingerprint sensor is in actual is quite responsive and very fast ..
Try using it with whatsapp inbuilt app lock security feature … It never misses a single time ..

Guys Lineagos 18.1 under testing ( audio issue currently but its just a matter of time it gets fixed ) . Time for some custom rom love for the device . Point to note its virtually impossible to get volte working because of lg using its own ims implementation and not standard qualcomm . No one has been able to crack lg ims since 2017 or 18 when it was implemented so forget volte . this is the first lg device with dual screen custom rom so again it may take time to get dual screen firmware to work or it may not work at all . also working in display fp will be a bit tricky to acheive but anyways we get face unlock . This device lacked software support but damn we now can be on the latest security patch and os . XDA thread to come up once all is tested and working fine . If anyone wants to build his favourite custom os for the device( only for g8x ) can pm me ( maybe your first custom rom on xda ) ( Requirement will be only a system with atleast 16 gb of ram )

Hi to best of my understanding, even if u enable the UE folder it does not guarantee that you would have VOLTE . VOLTE config files for the carrier JIO / AIRTEL must be there in the phone already else it will not support VOLTE.
Hence , even though u had enable UE it did not enable VOLTE as ur device did not have the VOLTE config files for AIRTEL / JIO .
Now I say because of ur mistakes u have been landed in a difficult situation with ur modem . DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING MORE ON UR DEVICE.
If u want to restore ur modem I would highly advice u to get a paid service from @ Unlock_LG on Telegram . He may charge anywhere between 10 to 30 USD and he is the best bet . I know the guy personally and except probably a few guys in China he is the most knowledgable and easily accessible . Also the guy is based out of Ukraine so ur supporting someone from the country. Also tell him that u had donated during the SM8150 firehose crowdfunding and see if he can discount u a bit on the service . You may also ask him if he could do a Cross Flash to India Version which may bring u VOLTE ( but CROSS FLASH is never easy so it may also break the Modem once again. TG user MAMA TAO has extensive knowledge on Cross Flashing )
