nischaycool wrote:So now final question is shoprite card good to keep?
I'll keep it but only for rbl specific offers. Apart from it the card feels useless as the reward points is very low + 99+gst fee for reward points redemption

5% on groceries seems like a good deal. Which other card offers 5% with no minimum transaction value on groceries?

0.25 value of points per 100 means useless... 5% for max INR 5000 groceery shopping is still OK... rest nothing and then 99+GST for redemption of points, means value worth 468 points gone which you will get for for grocerry shopping of INR 2340... so overall not much value.. . This is as good as saying please close card yourself or we will torture you... only silver lining is BMS offer of 10% discount upto 100, 15 times an year...

New card approval is bit hectic, so if you dont have a rbl card then have it as there will be no paperwork.
I think not many cards are there which offer 5% rewards for offline groceries . It's a very good card in my opinion. Redemption charge is a drawback , but that happens once in an year or so . If you buy 5000rs worth groceries every month , you get 12,000 rp in an year and only 99+18 is gone as gst . No big deal right .
Reward value of RBL cards are very less for amazon and flipkart vouchers. Their cookies card is good but it exludes reward points on utility bills but 10% cashback upto 300 per month on uber, zomato and myntra.

Only good for offline shopping.
Becoz online we shop as per discount and reward.

Is there a good RBL card that's worth getting or I'll close it?

Same . May be we are from those blessed list which can continue to use edition card and Zomato credits and future Zomato multi pro Power plus memberships
Zomato turned to be most jhumla company. Even worse than mobikwik.
Only freedom mobile would beat it I guess for the crown in hall of shame.
Indirectly rbl asking us to eat healthy food by buying grocery instead of Zomato
