Wireless broadband is not there for it to be abused endlessly, neither is wired broadband, for this reaon alone we cannot have cheap data plans nor cheap(er) broadband in this country for any length of time

looks like u will not get the 4G data. it’s jio wi-fi data that is 50/gb it’s like any other broadband service provider giving you data.

Jio plans are very expensive for heavy data users. Very disappointing. I expected Jio will compete with Act Fibernet, You broadband, Hathway etc. But Rs.50 per gb is no way a replacement for broadband.

Atleast, Jio should announce separate data only plans for Jiofi and JioLink devices.

I see some users are still not happy with the plans
And they will never be happy even if get everything for free.

I mean Every Telecom operator is here for business not charity.
And jio already gave enough of free data and calls in the testing phase.
And in few months they will have the their plans active and hopefully bring more data packs.

May be they have kept that UNLIMITED USAGE plans for FTTH which will soon be available in Mumbai and Delhi.

But overall pricing is better than AVoId

Can’t imagine how Chortel gave 250/Gb (3G/4G) and users had no option but purchase it.

Now their rude behavior towards customer will ultimately change or they gonna loose large amount of users and are already loosing heavy revenue from data packs.

I have one concern.
Non Volte phones need jio join app which must be connected to jio internet all the time?

So how do we use our Broadband Wi-Fi with the phone?? We won’t be able to make or receive calls when on WiFi

Also no 1 GB/2 GB plan

Don’t think other operators need to worry that much. Although price drops is indeed awaited
