Asked a NITI ayog member who has defended demonetisation before about today’s decision of 5k deposit rule and how it is going to affect businesses. The guy retorted with ‘Gold smugglers’ will benefit from depositing again and again. I asked him what about small businesses dying and country heading into recession? The guy blocked me. LOL
He didn’t give me the chance to ask why now on 19th DEC they had this realisation? 
The decision of depositing big amounts multiple time in a single account should have be banned from 1st day. This is a good move by govt curbing black money dustributing in multiple accounts

Rajeev Sharma tells us: The cash crunch is likely to worsen this weekend as the Reserve Bank of India will not send a fresh supply of currency notes to the banks for the next few days.
The RBI has instructed all banks to disburse the available cash very judiciously, knowledgeable sources said on Thursday.
It is not known why the RBI is going slow on refurbishing cash supplies to the banks at a time when the entire country is reeling under a cash crunch and only one week is left for people to deposit banned notes in their accounts.
The Central Bank of India has already issued a circular to all its branches, quoting the RBI as mentioned above.
Saturday, December 24, is a working day for banks. This means that the next two days are set to witness chaotic scenes and long queues at the banks.

THE REALITY:
—> Congress and BJP were accused of taking foreign funding from UK based Vedanta group for eight long years and hence challenged in high court.
—> High court found them guilty since representation act doesn’t let a party take foreign funding and directed Election commission to take action within six months.
—> Both the parties challenged it in supreme court.
—> Meanwhile BJP changed the whole rule of this funding and passed the amendment act silently in budget session.
—> Any MNC that is foreign based or a subsidiary was considered a foreign company. It was amended to any company that has more than 50% foreign capital will only be regarded as a foreign company.
—> Since Vedanta was not such a foreign company by new definition, both BJP and congress drew back their plea from Supreme court citing that FCRA act has been changed.
Since then they have been happily taking foreign funds to hold rallies, make stages, WEEP ON THAT STAGE and FOOL THE INDIANS.

Not a political comment but an estimate.
Money disappearing from e-wallets and increase of card/online frauds. But no respite to the victims. No fail-safe or mechanism in place for the duped. Someone used my dad’s SBI debit card to pay electricity bill in Punjab, filed case but that’s all you can do. There is no insurance or interest from Police to investigate the matter. No accountability from anyone in the system. This is the real menace of cashless. Pushed in the water and asked to learn swim.

RBI governor runs away from media. Literally : RBI Governor Urjit Patel sprinted his way to safety from the pursuit of the media contingent at the Vibrant Gujarat summit in Ahmedabad, ostensibly to dodge uncomfortable questions on demonetisation, reports Deccan Herald.
On the second day of the summit, Patel addressed a session on "Macro and Micro Drivers of Business Potential of IFSCs in India’ at the Mahatma Mandir, the summit’s venue.
Realising that a large media contingent was waiting for him at the entrance of the first floor seminar hall, Patel sneaked away through the back entrance and broke into a run when he observed media persons running after him.
The RBI governor managed to out-sprint the perplexed media persons who wanted to pose some discomforting questions on the RBI’s role in implementing demonetisation. He descended the staircase two at a time and jumped into his car before the media could reach him.
