Yes…Interest income is exempted upto 40K…even if it is deducted you can claim the refund of the same via Income Tax Return Filling for the Assessment Year. Make sure you have updated you PAN card with the Bank.

there was no min balance in SB account valid till 30 June 2020 what will happen to that from 1st July 2020

FYI – there was a notification that last years submitted forms for 2019-2020 will be valid till 30 June 2020
if the bank has updated this years 15G on internet banking then u can fill up and submit select year as 2020-2021
