REVISION OF BENEFITS ON CASHBACK SBI CARD
With effect from 01 May 2023, following changes will be applicable on your
CASHBACK SBI Card:
A. Below categories will not be eligible for Cashback benefit, apart from existing exclusions:
The Merchant Category Codes are defined by the Networks and are subjected to change basis
their discretion and such changes shall be implemented basis communication from the
Networks without any requirement forintimation/information to the customers.
B. Maximum Cashback that can be earned on online & offline spends in a statement cycle will
be capped at `5000.
C. Complimentary Domestic Airport Lounge benefit will be discontinued.

Do we get 5% cashback using SBI CashBack CC if we pay insurance premium (in May23) on Amazon ?

Why wait till May when the card will get devalued? You can always pay it a month earlier. However, chances are that insurance payments on Amazon will be considered under Bills category.
Despite all these devaluation and removing cashback on utilities, they still advertise cashback on utilities in their website.
Didn't expect this from SBI. Seems they turn out to be world class cheaters.

None of the cards in the past many years I have found that can be bought on a C2C basis. Still struggling to get one credit card on C2C basis with no income details required. Is there any card that is LTF and is issued on the basis of your civil score and previous CC report? If any then pls share the exact link so that I can apply and get it without any hassle.
PS: I have an excellent cibil score and my HDFC CC is 3 yrs old too.

Cashback will be credited based on either the transaction date or the transaction settlement date?. I would like to know more about this because it seems that we will not be eligible for cashback starting from May 1st on gift card purchase.
Anyone who exceeded 5k cb capping this month, and still getting cb?
Now my statement cycle is till 3rd May, and since sbi is sbi 
and as per their above new rule, I'm afraid I'll come under that capping when my statement is generated even though my cb was earned when old rules were in place. So sbi can even reverse the extra cb amount earned above 5k. What do you all think?
If I purchase a gift card today which will get settled after 48 hours i.e. on May 2nd will I get the 5% cashback (as I have made the payment today)
I did last txn on 30th. Txn will settle on 2 may. Statment generation date is 3rd may. I think sbi should consider the transaction date and not the settlement date for the cashback.
1st amazon did and now from today Flipkart also remove sbi 10% instant discount offer. 😔

I earned cashback of rs 3800 till 30th April, after that I did a transaction of rs 50k on same day and it got settled today, Now total cashback earned showing 5k.
So, yes settlement date matters
So this is first evidence of cb capping for txns settling in May.
So all those who were expecting some cashback today but didn't get yet, might have either exceeded the 5k cb capping or did txns on new "no-cb" categories.
maybe the cashback will get credited tomorrow as yesterday was bank holiday in some states.
Nothing is gonna come now 
such a bummer if SBI gets away saying settlement date, however no such thing mentioned in T&C, worth fighting for if you were expecting a good sum of cashback
yes this is wrong,settlement date is not a criteria,i diad a 80k transaction on education,if i dont get 4k i will go to consumer court
