Some Asian countries use OTP, some do not. Vietnam does, for example. So it might just be Klook and SG Airlines support 2FA since otherwise, they'd have a lot of auto-rejected transactions.

I think it will not, because I've done transactions previously via HDFC CC to book Air Asia international flights and no charge was imposed. Both time Amount paid in INR.

You sure its INR? Because for domestic transactions OTP is mandatory (Expiry/CVV may be not in some cases). Also for these international flights, currency payment depends on point of departure.

I remember earlier there was no OTP verfication on Aliexpress also. one of my colleague used to keep his credit cards unattended on desk, I had a bet with him that it can be used on some international websites without OTP and ended up ordering a useless chinese watch from Aliexpress. Cancelled the order later after a snacks treat from him.. 😄

I believe even Aliexpress had started directing to respective bank sites for OTP later, btw there are many "chindi" items I used to buy from aliexpress which are not easily available in india.

Yes Yes No Otp For Sbi Debit Card Too... If We Enter the Wrong Expiry/Cvv For 1 Time Then That Card Won't Work Forever On AliExpress...

Edit ::   For Karur Vysya Bank Debit Card It Will Redirect To OTP Page, Verified by Visa Page

You can pay in INR internationally too. I've done Agoda, Vietjet, and others in the past six months. Only Vietjet had an OTP.

Welcome to SBI.. SBI has some weird rule of applying Forex fee even when transaction is INR with OTP. If parent company is outside India then you need to pay forex fee.
