SBI Inoperative Account

I have a sbi a/c in a city approx 400km away from me. I have internet Banking access.
"Inoperative A/c. Please contact Branch" shows there when I logged in today after some months.
I think, this is because there were no transaction for some months in this a/c.
So, now does anyone know any way to get back this a/c in active/operative mode without visiting to the branch ?

send email to you branch and ask them to make it operative. They may ask you kyc documets. most branches take kyc documents via email. Otherwise visiting home branch is necessary
