Evan Spiegel, CEO of Snapchat, has reportedly said that India is too ‘poor a country’ for his company to consider investing in. “This app is only for rich people. I don’t want to expand into poor countries like India and Spain,” he said.

OP was about someone saying India is poor. While some denied it outright, some others have deviated to why India is poor and what India is capable of since 5000 years etc… I have been invited for a Yummy Easter lunch, so off I go…

Instead of giving bad words to ceo if we would have done these for those politians than today india would have a different look out towards world in poverty

but what he mean to say that app is meant for only rich people (no app has any link with poor and rich) , yha pe bache bache ko smartphone chalana aata h , it is not about only india , point is how these literate class and such big CEO think about poors . also he has ill thinking for females too .
so as being a poor bcoz of money , do not mean we should tolerate any racism . this is also a racism like color , religion , caste , body shape , fair skin etc .

It turns out that finally this “news” was something that somebody claimed that somebody told somebody, while somebody heard it and somebody reported it and lots of bodies shared it!

Unfortunately nothing happens in this country. It never goes to war, its politicians dont behave like they are going to one. Every day I open the newspaper in hope that something interesting must have happened in kashmir or some other part of world. Soon we will be able to see the mother of all strategies and entertainment. But there is not much of that sort in news. All my aspirations evaporate seeing the same stupid kejriwal and modi thing. Even in this big city, everybody minds his own business and no two neighbours fight and entertain.
Life is a lot boring. Finally I open clash of clans and have to start a war myself but it cant thrill much. Bored, sometimes I wish I died. Didnt login in DD for more than a month as nothing interesting here.

When everyone uninstalling Snapchat . I first time downloaded app to to see what is this actually . What paid service there in app.
I don’t think many Indians are using this shitty app before.
News is Fake .. Indian Media made up that Snapchat Ceo said Indian is Poor and all. But the fact is An ex-employee (who is not working in company) said this..and not the Ceo.. And for this Issue Loss to snapdeal also took place because of many people not knowing about snpachat… Starting accusiing snpadeal thinking it is Snapchat
Do some simple research before doing what everyone else is doing ! If everyone does it, it doesn’t mean it is right. It was alleged that he said those words.It goes back to 2015 . One of the former employees has accused him of saying it.Try to get the facts correct
This is like the Aamir Khan ‘intolerance’ saga all over again. Most people were wrong then and now in this case,it has not been proven he said so.
