At that time benefits was ad free television shows and new episode at same time of TV along with full access to all live TV channels except sports channels.
But now,
I just saw, I am getting ads everywhere.
After opening Sonyliv app, getting banner ads, promotions as well as getting ads on television shows like MasterChef India, shark tank, Kaun banega crorepati(old episodes) and getting ads even before starting of live TV channels.
Also new episodes of serials not getting uploaded on time.
It's being uploaded almost after TV telecast.
Taarak Mehta being uploaded at 8.45 instead of 8.30
Whats going on?
Are they treating customer as fool?
All promised benefits withdrawn.
What we can do?
After all we paid money. And with commitment of benefits entire year.

My membership is special plus not special.
And now Every membership is having ads.
And they changed policy later.. It should not be applied to existing users till their membership expiry but they applied.
Just use an ad blocker if possible. I have experienced significant slowdowns in SonyLiv while using Ad Guard DNS.
Yes, they have started doing it since January and it is actually wrong but cant do anything about it

Just like I am deleting flipkart account, I will also delete Sonyliv account.
It doesn't deserve even 499 annually for premium but ask 999.

Procedure is simple..
Tell customer care to take complaint to delete my account.
Then backend team will call you and ask why do you want to delete the account?.
Then tell your reason and they will delete it within 1 or 2 days.

Relax dude, if you start deleting accounts like that you might also delete DD account in future.
With Sony liv: plus/super plus or whatever plans for ₹399/₹499 they all come with ads which is clearly mentioned in the plan details now. They did act smart by adding ads in these plans when they introduced premium plan.
If you don’t like ads, upgrade your plan.

You’re wrong I believe. This ₹999 plan was introduced last year and all other plans were changed to include ads before August 2022. You bought the plan in Dec 2022 and that time ₹999 plan was already introduced and all others were ‘ads’ plan. If they did mentioned like you said, still you can’t do anything about it and end users are just helpless.
My point is don’t high your blood cause of such pity issues and start deleting accounts. Do you think deleting account will make any difference to Sony liv etc?
Chill and move on buddy. Life has far worst things than such OTT t&c change in plan.
