Suggest a best Telescope

Hello Dimers, I am looking for a telescope. I read through few articles but instead of helping the articles confused me a lot. Need your suggestions on the best telescopes with in 50K range. If it flexible to expand the viewing distance by adding lens, that would be more helpful. I hope this discussion will be helpful to other interested buyers...
