Surprised no one mentioned Nippon small cap, kotak flexicap

If the duration is longterm atleast 10Yrs put in any small cap fund

If the duration is less than 5yr mid cap fund

Less than 2Yr largecap

Ps always put in growth fund instead of balanced fund

Bonus - search advisorkhoj website & make informed financial decision

Go for Motilal Oswal Midcap fund, midcap gives decent returns. Invest in it if you are looking to invest money for at least 3-4 years.

When in doubt go with an index fund.

Tata, motilal Oswal etc., any top rated with low TER.

OR find a good flexi or multi cap, like Parag Parikh, mirae assest, quant etc.,

Just suggestions, look for what makes sense to you.

Already mentioned in description "Already invested in Small Caps, so looking for other fund". That's why nobody suggested Small caps. What about Flexi cap or Index funds?

Never go with index fund.
If you are thinking of index fund better go with Index ETF or invest into Index Stocks directly.
In MF you pay a flat fee on your portfolio which does not make any sense for index funds and many other funds.

How much fees is there on index fund ?? For ETF, you have to have demat  and other hassles ...

Parag parikh flexicap as many have suggested. It has foreign equity exposure.

HDFC Balance advantage fund. It has great returns and safety inbuilt.

Both direct growth options. For 2k, can pick just one.
