Please list/suggest out all the banks where I can open a Zero balance account online. (Payments banks excluded)
One I know from DD is Indusind bank account.
1. Indusind
(20000 initial funding required, later can transfer it. 249 pa charges for titanium card)
2. SBI
(only first year, its temporary)
3. Kotak 811
4. NSDL Jiffy
Although its a payments bank but provides rupay platinum debit card which is useful for amazon add money offer
5. ICICI
10000 FD for at least 12 months required.)

Dbs has introduced MAB of 5k applicable since 1st October 2020. So DBS not considered.

2. ICICI insta save FD account (Nil MAB for 10k FD)

I think ICICI pockets savings account opening was closed a couple of years ago. Though it’s still showing on their website. I had confirmed with CC, they had told that account opening is closed
does SBI allow opening account online??
Last I checked/tried (in month on July) Branch visit was mandatory
I beleive all accounts opened online require video KYC/ Biometric KYC at home / branch visit for full KYC. It’s just that which bank offers which options for full KYC.

Is this the same basic account which is provided by all banks since it is mandatory by RBI ?
NDSL zero balance account offer ends on 31st October. Not sure if they will extend it.
I thought this offer expired long back

ICICI Wealth Account is Lifetime free account (with initial funding of 5-10 L)..

SBI has converted all regular savings accounts to zero balance accounts.
if u hv upstox than u cn open indusind 3 in 1 account with zero balance debit card charges 300+ gst after delivery debit card can be hotlisted and virtual card is there

Why the hell banks need aadhaar to open bank account when you have pan card? Is it safe to provide them the aadhaar or mandatory ?
Aadhaar is not mandatory for opening Bank accounts. If you are not comfortable with opening a bank account with Aadhar, then strongly insist on providing an alternative PoA. Pan Card is only PoI and for IT purposes.
