Suggestions for Kotak Pre-approved CC offer

Kotak will either give u pre approved offer in 6 months.. Or will never give u.. So waiting is the best option 

Better to avoid Kotak cards. Most have pretty awful experiences with closing it.

Using same in brother's account, but unecured CC from kotak is Required as kotak Increase Card limits more frequently.

Then just wait for 5-6 months because I think there is no way to "trigger" pre-approved cc offer from kotak.

Saw this thread yesterday and applied for Kotak League Card through email link they had shared before.

No approval message, email and all and today they dispatched the card as per email received.

Don't know the limit. No KYC done either.

Do you have any Kotak savings account?

Check free cibil in Kotak bank app and wait for the magic.

I applied for league platinum via their website. Approved on c2c basis.
I don't have savings account with them
They matched the credit limit of my existing card. 2 Lakh.

I applied online. And an agent called me and asked for aadhar pan, cc statement and image of my credit card over whatsapp . 🥲

She asked for salary slip and income proof too but I said I did not have it.

A guy came for residence verification and card was approved in 2-3 days. And delivered in 1 day.

I have urbane gold card & it is not corporate card, you are confusing it with corporate gold credit card. I have this card & it is the best credit card to have from kotak because you just need to spend 15k in a year to get fee waiver & its annual fee is also very low at 199+gst which is even lower than many psu banks' debit cards.

Received League Platinum 

At the time of applying it was shown 0 Joining Fees, 0 Annual Fees 

Even the mail says Lifetime Free Card without any Asterick or Hash to read the fine print 

Now the card letter mentions ₹499 Annual Fees if less than ₹50,000 annual spends.

I was under doubt because on their website Visa Corporate is mentioned on card images.


I did not want to take risk because I had faced this issue on hdfc business moneyback card that 10% discount offer was not available on many sites.

I also have hdfc business moneyback card & till now I have never faced any issue on amazon/flipkart for hdfc card offers which also exclude corporate/commercial cards from offers & if it works there then it should work everywhere. Can you tell the name of sites where it gave issues & when you tried it?

Tata Cliq Always.
Flipkart sometimes.
Few other sites too.

Anyone has experience of converting paid CCs to LTF or downgradations to LTF vairant ?

Have Indigo Kotak CC. Any chance of downgradation as there is no waiver condition on spends .
