Giftcards india is worst , cards which bought in shopclues taking months to activate waste of time and money

@enapster bro, can we use the cards offline without registering on edenred site?
also, if we are registering on edenred, do we need to fill the same mob no & email id used while ordering or any can be used?
I have not used it offline, but I remember reading on another thread that it will work without registering on edenred.
While registering on edenred, I had got an error when I typed my mobile number incorrectly once – the message was something like it did not match the database. No harm trying again as these policies always keep changing.

All my cards (8 × 5k) requested for activation on Nov 28th are activated.

Now that you are here, let me share that one of my transactions at Paytm via a TC card also failed today (got some payment authorization error). But another transaction a few minutes later via another TC card succeeded. Don’t know what to think.

In the past few days, there has been several transaction failures in PayTM. I suspect their servers are not able to handle the increased load. Both in add money and withdrawal to Bank. For deposit, the same card works if you retry. For withdrawal, for me if I am lucky it goes through in the first attempt, otherwise it takes 2-5 attempts. In 3 cases (out of 10-12) the transaction went to pending state and money was neither in the wallet nor in the bank. After 2 days one came back to wallet and two got credited to bank. No money lost. For me it is mostly withdrawing TC to bank. Wonder how this is working for people who use PayTM for business!

I don’t have digisavings because I don’t have an Aadhaar number yet. I’ve finally applied 3 days back because my company made it mandatory for PF credits!
For these cards not much discount – placed 8 orders from 8 different shopclues accounts, received 500 Cluesbucks in one and 300 in another (offer in Nov), used up Mobkwik cash back balances (Happilo/others) in 7 accounts + 200 Mobikwik cash back + 6.5 – 6.8 % cash back using affiliate referral. Approx paid 35k using previously purchased TC cards. I did not expect it to take this long to activate. I’m glad it’s done in this month itself so that I could use it while Mobikwik / PayTM still has free withdrawal to bank.

can i use these cards online..?? if yes which website>>? back in june 2016 i used TC cards in freecharge and transfered to bank.. is it stil working.. i havent used gift cards for a while..
It’s working almost everywhere online. It works on freecharge, but some have got their account suspended as too many cards were used in a single account.

Premium gives 2% cash back for some outlets/merchants. For online use both are the same. If you are buying from Shopclues, do note that from the date of order it will be about 40 days before you can use the card. 3-7 days for courier, 30 days (approx) for GCI activation, 1-3 days for edenred email/phone update (if not done by GCI during activation)
Called GCI just now to check the status of activation requests placed on December 12th.
They said all requests till December 14th will be activated on Friday, Jan 6th evening.

Did you get one? You have to complain them and they will investigate which might take at least a week.

I have ordered 5 TC cards from Amazon. When I receive them, while registration on edenred can I give same email and mobile number for all ??
You sure can , though the user ID has to be different in each case. Though you can also use the card without registration but registration makes tracking/getting statement (in case of some issues in payment failures and all) and other stuff easier.
TC cards registered for activation on Dec 12th are active now. Email / Phone not updated, another day or two for that!

Can we link multiple cards to the same account????
Coz when I link my new card ,the error says, Card cannot be linked.
you cant do it., you need to register separately for each and every card.. ofcourse you can use same email and mobile number but user id should be different.. thats the reason i maintain an excel sheet with all cards and use info for TC cards.
The transaction has been cancelled due to address /mobile number mismatch. Please update correct address or mobile number to continue. Getting this error. Please help.
after registering on edenred website after GCI activated the cards, edenred will take 2-3 days time to update your address/mobile details… only after 3 days you can use the card online.. till then u can use it offline if you intend to use it.
In a surprise move, all TC cards with activation request till December January 12th have been activated. Balance is not loaded yet, should be done overnight.

All my cards with activation request up to 25/11 were activated on 20/12.
I have some cards requested on 28/11 – Called them today morning and they said all requests till 30/11 will be done latest by Monday 26/12.
