(Tutorial) Amazon Prime Extension

Extended with SBI CC reward points GV redemption in 2 accounts for 3 years in each account total of 6 Prime 12M vouchers.

here's how...

Before we proceed further this was tested and worked only on SBI CC rewards prime voucher of 12 Months, others can try to test with other banks vouchers and let others know.

1. Goto prime landing page

2. Add the prime code that you received after redemption at landing page

more types of prime landing pages from different vendors can be found from this comment

3. If any existing prime plan, it will show as ineligible but if the account does not have membership you can try on that but don't add membership to it yet.

4. It will take you to payment page & once you selected any address an confirm you will get year of membership added to that particular account.

5. But wait, at the point 4 don't confirm the order and add the membership to that account.

At point 4 when you are at payment page with addresses, notice the url

This is my payment page url, your url might differ, check your payment page url yourself

note the word INSERT <- this is where you'll see the prime code that you received without the * (asterisk) & no spaces

Since you did not confirm your membership at payment page, now note this url somewhere in notepad keep aside

Now say you have 2 or more prime codes from the same vendor (in this case SBI CC rewards), here there are 2 ways to do it.

6. While this page is in payment page don't proceed, now open new tab with another prime landing code and enter the new code in the small box and hit continue, it will also take you to payment page filled with addresses, now confirm order & wait for it to get placed & in few minutes you'll get your prime membership confirmation, after that do the same for the other code also, since it's in payment page, even that will get placed which in return extendeds your prime by 1 more year.

2nd way even if you have processed at point 4 or not

7. Say you already have processed at point 4 and added the 1 year membership, no worries, just check for the payment page url from the browser history and note it down and edit it. How? See the INSERT HERE here the old code exists, just remove it and paste new code here correctly, now copy the whole url onto the browser in which the amazon account is already logged in to which you want preime to get extended, it will directly take you to payment page (no checking if eligible or not), now just confirm the order and enjoy prime extension.

Note the * asterisk that I have added for the sake for this post explanation, don't add them, just the new code is enough.

Note: This was tested on SBI CC rewards Prime voucher only & upto 3 years on 2 different accounts. Proofs attached.
