Don’t trust it unless she mails you from her official email id.if she doesn’t and If you still want an hdfc card , apply through their website.

Isn’t it better to go for C2C via RM rather than 3rd party if have account with HDFC? Of course will be losing out on vouchers.

Looks like it will not be able to keep it’s shine, to the speed they are pushing for this card everywhere. Another one will bite dust soon!!

HDFC inside themselves don’t have a good coordination.

1) My RM told I will not loose GV benefit(1500 on applying) if I applied through RM. I did the same instead of applying through netbanking. 
Couple of days later my RM got changed.
Now they are saying I am ineligible as I took help of bank representative.

2) Raised a complaint regd above cheating, all they are doing is arranging a callback from new RM…. he says he can’t do anything in this.  This happened twice

3) RM says I have to spend 50k to make it LTF, customer care says it’s 30k

4) Got fed-up and wanted to close the card. RM says I have to submit a form to Chennai credit card office.
CC says I can do it online too

Got LTF same way last month via C2C
True Ltf no conditions
Confirmed on email and call both by HDFC
No 1500 Rs voucher in this case

If you want 1500 voucher and LTF both then wait for HDFC ore approved offer

I too was not getting pre approved offers for HDFC account.
So I directly applied from their site.

To my surprise it got approved will the good limit. And recently got LE as well.


And yes it was LTF unconditional

Firstly apologies for the delayed response..

The process as many Dimers quoted is a bit risky as everything is based on non formal interaction..

If this card is of utmost emergency then u may proceed with the same..
Be prepared to spend 50k in 90 days to get it Ltf if something is messed up..

Else u can wait for pre approved offers which are given every quarter..

How to check if HDFC cc is LTF?

I applied c2c basis  through sell person tie with bank as in your case . They told me to attach a bill on smartpay for LTF . I attached bill but did not pay any bill on smartpay i always reject their transection on smart pay. Beside this i constantly askin them on mail that does my card is Ltf or not after every 3 -4days . Many times they reply that they can tell about LTF status after 90 days . But i keep on sending mail to them.One day the before (on 40 th days of card issue)reply that my cad is LTF same is written on my 2nd month card statement . I dont know which factor make my card LTF (c2c or bill attachment (did not pay single rs) or mailing them frequently ) but fortunately my card is LTF without meeting any spent criteria or bill payment on smartpay 

its worthy if you get lifetime free because I got millennia
