Jio jmr815 model is good airtel modem not available anywhere in tn for prepaid segment...
Jio u can get 6 month plan 1999 and jiofi
Before buying any modem check coverage in ur area...if jio means check via netvelocity app ..
I bought the airtel device shown above in picture on 15th March2020 for Rs 1600. Inside my house only Airtel signals are good and reliable hence went with this. Only airtel sims will work in this device. Battery time of around 8 hours so my office shift gets done. Charging time approx 150 mins.
Let me know if you have any query related to this airtel device
Airtel hotspot (rs2500 ) out of stock . Checked in 3 airtel store but not available .
Btw , thanks for your valuable reply . +Karama bro
I am using TPLink Archer MR600 with Jio SIM. The only router with SIM+2CA technology, dual band and gigabit ports. I get about 80-100 mbps speed with 2CA on either 3+40 or 5+40. It can also be setup with wired WAN input as primary and SIM as secondary fallback mode. If money is not the issue, then this is the best router.
Also have Jiofi JMR815 and Huawei unlocked mifi E5673s, which I use with Airtel SIM now but have used with Jio and Voda SIM also. Huawei one is slightly better than Jiofi.
Bhai , yahi leta hu ab , yahi best hai .
Thanks for reply . +Karma added

@onlineuser7 do remember TP-Link Archer MR200 lacks band 5 FDD 850Mhz,
In India Band 3, 5, 40 is used.

Used JMR1140 and it’s good and solid – works without the battery which is a major source of h3eat and sluggish performance over time. Just remove it and use a power bank and you get nearly very long run time without any heating issue.
I ordered this for 3600 after card discount. But oos now. This one has band 5

You can buy Tp-link MR6400 also has band 5 support. available on both FK n AZ.
Both don’t have 2CA but full fledge N300 router with attachable 5dbi LTE antenna. You can connect external one too for better coverage.
what the purpose of usage ?
I am using Digisol ADSL+ Router and it has USB Support .. (Digisol DG-BG4300NU Wireless ADSL 2/2+ Broadband Router with USB Port)

Dear OP, why you have not thought of old mobile and used as hotspot with this way you can use any sim.
currently I’m doing same . using realme1 / old micromax 4g mobile as hotspot only . but mobile gets warm due to low indoor signal n again charging Mobile is ….
Finally product received . Speed is ok
Indoor airtel 4g speed is ok good
Bro, is the speed stable ? I mean does it drop down in between randomly sometimes ? I am using mobile hotspot and even though network and speed is pretty decent, it’s not stable; drops down randomly in between which is a pain if we are in some meetings…
@rajrocks thanks bro . +Karma again
Is there any difference in speed in a hotspot created by a phone having jio sim vs jiofi?
what is the difference btw https://www.amazon.in/JioFi-Hotspot-M2S-Portabl... and
https://www.amazon.in/Reliance-Wi-Fi-M2-Wireles...

This type of antenna really works/useful for router ya sirf paisa waste
Don’t even know this type of things exists
It’s showing Frequency: 2.4GHz and 5GHz
Just an update. Got a new original battery for my jiofi m1 router for ₹450. Have to submit the imei number. Got it in about 30 minutes on visiting the jio service centre.
Someone please recommend me a good 4g router. I get good speed on roof, so I think I’ll have to use LAN cable.
Also need 5Ghz support.

@andromeda @LIMBO @getready @panchabhut pls correct me if im wrong. for example a power source with 12v/2a o/p can be used to power all devices whose i/p is 12v & <=2A rating right? i know voltage should be same but im getting confused on current rating part. pls clarify.
ps-talking in general. not abt smart devices.
Yes you are right, you can use any device of lower current rating with higher current rated power source.
If your device and power source are rated for similar currents, there is a good chance that power supply will work at peak levels
But if your power supply is huge, the con side of this is if for any reason the device malfunctions, and decides to use the huge current the source has, the device will end up in flames/fumes
@andromeda @getready pls chk below video. pb is working for 12v router
also chk the comments.
Like I mentioned earlier, a router can work with lower voltage. And it is not necessary all routers work that way. It depends on how the circuits are designed inside.
To be frank the main controller(FPGA) chip inside the router works usually at 3.3V, a few down to 1.2V, but a router is not just that controller, it has other things like WiFi boosters etc to serve the purpose.
So your router may work at 5V, but it will be stressed or you may not get the enough WiFi signal or may end up seeing other limitations.
