As per my opinion if you want only water purifier (UV+UF) without RO than just go to local market at your place and get your water purifier assembled at some trusted shop with good quality and branded parts.

It will be cheaper than branded water purifier (UV+UF) and it’s maintenance cost will also be on lower side.

I don’t have much idea, but I know only one brand which is there at my place, my brother’s place and my office. Aquaguard…… I think they are the pioneers and have good service……

I got shocked by knowing how much dengerous ro watter is for health for municipal water…etc…. N we Indians r buying by looking@ number of filters instead of what we need actually….😒

Old post but I am looking for cost effective maintenence option

I bought alfaa purifier for 6000 with amc of 2000 per year and its 3 yrs now.

Amc covers replacing filter and assurity insurance that the uv will be replaced if it fails(which has not happened so far)

I am not sure if i continue with same filter or buy a new one.

I want a better deal on amc contracts, alfa and aqua guard are only brands that i have used and have had same amc experience with both..

Alfa is more prompt and has better service
