Why are such phone are being released now ? promoting these chinese phones, when there are India China border disputes.
Is it a good advice to invest on such phones now ?.

But buying newly launched 5G phones is too expensive and you are paying for the features which you are not going to use it.

What is the need for more speeds now? Speed is not the limiting factor now, data is. 4g speeds are more than enough to watch HD video content but one can’t afford the data. I have seen many switching to SD quality to save on data. On a mobile phone why does one need more higher speeds really?
Sure the network reliability comes to play with 5G but would only require more capital which would have to be again borne by the customer. I feel it is all being done to increase consumption of services.
5g may be a reality by end of 2021. So instead of buying 5g, it would be more sensible to not invest in expensive 4g phones.

India can’t afford 5G, even US is unable to afford 5G.
The infrastructure for 5G is extremely expensive and it requires many towers like the constant spaced street lights.
Only densely packed high GDP cities can afford 5G.
3GPP has a 5G standard which is followed worldwide. 5G has mostly to do with latency and other than that, even if the speed is high, it is still 4G.
Majority of the consumers fall for the shop keeper’s suggestion to buy the latest G technology phone 
That’s how Oppo and Vivo does their offline business via their partners in crime “CReliance Digital, Croma & some others” 
These guys have separate booths in majority of their big stores with dedicated Influencers peddling fake info to everyone!

Is this happening? I guess the reason is price point.
Now, if you going to buy phone around 20k or more. You expects to use for a longer period. And you would not want to change or upgrade the device. So it’s better to think about future technology when buying such expensive phone.
(Around 20k phone is also expensive I guess)
For phone below 20k it’s an additional feature to attract customers. It also good here to think about future technology even it requires extra payments of 1k to 2k
Chahe 5G le aao ya 5KG kuch dino ke baad wahi 2G waali speed pe browse karni hai. Youtube 360p mein bhi ruk-ruk kar hi chalani hai. Twitter par TRAI aur DOT ko tag karke complaint raise karni hai par ghanta farak nahi padna hai kuch.
Haan is naam par Ambani aur Mittal phir rate jarur badha denge aur handset makers aapko naya latest technology wala phone pakda denge aur hum middle class phir apni marzi se apni jeb katwaane market pahuch jayenge.
It is just waste of money… People buying 5g phones now will eventually switch to new devices multiple times till they get to use the 5g technology. People who go for any new technology regardless whether they use it or not, they tend to get bored easily so will switch the devices and thus waste the money. This is just a new trend with the generation, want to grasp their hand on new tech first. And companies just profit on this buying pattern of the users.

Why people are buying 5G phones? Because they are morons.

Why people have clapped, beat thalis? Because …. Welk by now the theme should be clear.
5G is LMFAO thing. I mean eventually we all will use 5G. Because technology goes forward, today 5G, tomorrow 10G and so on. Most hilarious thing is, did we ever have proper Edge speed? Or 3G speed? Or does anyone think we actually have true 4G now?
Another factor is to consider here is the sheer user base in our country. I don’t think it’s actually feasible for any company to provide true 4G speed to all the users at all times. An insane amount of infrastructure is needed for that, which we can’t afford.
So anyone buying a phone in 2020 on the basis of 5G is either 80 years old, who is going to use the same phone till death, or like said at the beginning, a complete moron.

People don’t (at least the majority?) particularly look to purchase a 5G phone right now..its just that some of the options they consider are 5G compatible

You get XYZ-Ready features for many electronics so if someone is particularly looking for such options, they would consider purchasing them

+ Now-a-days the hardware for major phones remain the same all over the world..w/ or w/o 5G inclusion for specific markets, it hardly makes a difference & some processors like (Snapdragon 765/G & MediaTek Dimensity Series) have integrated 5G modem..it would be outright silly to exclude a feature thats already comes with the CPU (unlike the flagship CPU Snapdragon 865…costing few bucks extra)
Also there’s one 5G phone promoted aggresively past couple of weeks, if you’ve observed closely if there’s one stressed factor about the phone that hasn’t been heavily marketed..its the 5G capability
Even the e-tailer partner too completely ignored the 5G factor from its official product page because its so unnecessary for a tech that hasn’t got launched yet!

i’m struggling for 1 bar of 4g signal in my home volte symbol keeps disappearing intermittently 5g seems like a distant dream 
aur ye jo itna 5G ki speed nahi aayegi , this was same when 4G was been launched and see today speedis like 4G> 3G>2G so definetely 5G will have more speed as less user will have 5G phone also and so less user more speed, and this data data , yaar ghar me almost everyone is on wifi its the outdoor one need
and youtube works well at least on 3G and 4G on my phone at my location (Delhi) data to wahi hai 1.5GB/day chahe 3G chalao ya 4G

If anyone wants to buy its their money, let them buy 6G Which will be soon available on krypton phones advertising prominently on Google adsense.
I am still waiting for the jio Fibre in my area when cable was layed 2-3 years back. Where is available it’s unaffordable.
After Ambani AGM announcement people will not buy 5G phones anymore. Reason is Google investing in Jio and working on a 5G handset. I would prefer a Jio phone with android optimised for that network and right now use a low end 4G handset till that time since 4G will not be discontinued rather speeds will get better when people move to 5G since it’s different technology on a different spectrum. Hope I am right.

1. Not available currently.
2. Expensive 5G Phones.
3. Even it comes, it will not be available everywhere.
4. Not all telecom providers will provide 5g at a time.
5. There might be 5G, 4G in-compartibility (calling)
Point in favour of 5G-
1. You might(?) get free 5G for couple of months.
2. You can show off for 5G phones.
3. More 5G phones will attract investors/telecom providers to invest in this venture.
So,
For me 5G phones might be not required even you are planning to buy an One Plus (4G) range phone

I don’t know about others but I still have a 2g nokia phone and both that and so called 4g samsung sh*t has the same net speed. Don’t know whether to cry or laugh.
So I’ll be passing this 5g gimmick.
