Hello everyone,
I need to get a Wi-Fi (broadband) connection & a good router in Mumbai (Thane) for up to 7-8 users (Max area is 10 – 20 meters). My purpose is to visit few websites, little-bit streaming (not 4k), etc.

Which Wi-Fi router should i go for up to 20 mtr distance & max 8 users with constant/good speed?

Also which local broadband service provider is good in terms of speed, downtime, service, installation charges (should be less/free), or coming with free router? Dont suggest Airtel Xtream Fiber & Jio Fiber as they are not providing their service in my area.
Does local players such as Tikona, Hathway, Mach1 provides good speed & service? Do they provide free router?

If No Free Router, then for which router i should go for?

Your inputs are valuable.
TIA.

So RCduke is from thane toungueout
I am using Mach1 from several years now (personally i have switched from more than 10 ISP’s in my 10-15 years of personal usage and witnessed dl speeds from 10kb/s to 10mb/s toungueout). I use the 5191/- annual plan where in they give 2.4TB data for 1 year with 100 MB speed and post FUP the speed drops from 100MB to 20MB which then makes the plan unlimited. Though they claim it to be 100MB but i have seen it touching 80-90 MB in real life conditions and yes sometimes it does dip but yes i don’t have any buffering issues so i really don’t care and yes the moment i get to know there is some downtime which is very rare i really sit on their head to get it fixed because i was the first customer in my complex and then their expanded their biz like anything.

(my current speed test now)

Opt for any AC750/1000/1250 router i think that should really suffice your need (personally using TPLINK and that’s best in class plus superb aftersales service too)
Hope this helps you @rcduke

Yes Mach1 is very good, even I have been using it from a decade. I supply networking products to ISPs (excluding Mach1) and they give me a huge discount on broadband connection. But I prefer to pay full and use Mach1 because of the service.
