I purchased 4600 ajio gift card using amazon pay wallet upi.
transaction failed but money got deducted on oct 1.
wohoo does not show failed transaction history.
when i am asking for refund in twitter they are saying no such transaction exist.

Woohoo said the refund happened yesterday, but it is not yet credited in Amazon pay wallet.
For me, they refunded amount in gift card. Maybe because 10000 limit was already over or i am not sure. Now I don't know what to do with 10k.
anyone wants to use it with some discount ping me please.
In amazon pay balance upi transaction, if it fails or success(both the ends) then it's okay. But transaction is successful and merchant doesn't receive money then you are in such a mess.
Could you suggest where this can be taken up best to get it resolved.

But Amazon customer care is saying that this id is for Amazon to payu.
Amazon is asking to get transaction I'd for payu to Amazon
How to get that id
I have similar situation where money got deducted from Amazon UPI but not credited to reciving end via billdesk. Billdesk has shared ARN number of refund transaction but Amazon is saying since there's a UPI reference number showing in payment history of the transaction, it's a proof that payment was successful as it is generated at recieving end only. When I told billdesk has shared the ARN number, they said we can't check anything with that. They asked me to get full transaction details from billdesk for the transaction date, I said why will any company share this private info he disconnected the call.
I filed a complaint on amazon on consumer complaint, lets wait for amazon grievance officer to reply.
I had a doubt, Amazonpay Wallet UPI is not enabled yet for refund mechanism.
So, i send Rs1 from my bank account to my Amazonpay wallet UPI (@ amazonpay) to check but money is instantly successfully credited to my Amazonpay wallet. 😀
So, i guess manual refund is credit but if transaction failed or refund on same transaction number then i guess Amazon still not enabled auto refund on same transaction number.
Also remember one important thing, You amazon wallet mini kyc limit is 10k, if you already used your Wallet limit then you can't receive refund on same month, next month i guess Amazon need to manually credit your pending amount.
Now that Amazon UPI has become a PSP and Issuer as well the system is less than even half baked and people are having multiple issues of stuck reversals. And most of providers don't follow the RBI policy of TAT.
I created a ticket in consumer help line they closed the ticket saying there is no order id.
how do we get order id for upi transaction?
