I don’t use any of the services by NO BANK…I had one FD because of the earlier 7.10% interest…Now was trying to close the account…

And they are still deducting VAS charges even after deactivating by by calling customer care multiple times…Everytime they say the same damn thing that it’s now disabled & you won’t be charged but they keep on charging…VAS charges are very little but why the heck I would pay even a single rupee when they are telling me that they have disabled it…

Today also I called them & after like 60th try, could get the line working…I rarely saw even a toll free number doesn’t work properly…The first person put me on the hold & hung up on me after making me wait for 10 minutes…

I dialled the number 1800 1200 again & could connect to another rep like after 50+ calls (All I was getting, all routes in this line are busy)…This person “pretended” for like 30 minutes that he’s not understanding what I am tying to say & kept on doing time pass like your phone number is not matching, your customer id is not matching, your account number is not matching etc even though I was calling from my registered mobile number…

Anyways after like 40 minutes, he told me that the VAS was enabled & he has disabled the VAS services & I won’t be charged again & that I will receive a SMS regarding this but I neither got any SMS or any email like last time when they told me that they have disabled it…

This I also tried from netbanking before & there also it used to show that it’s disabled but they still used to deduct the VAS charges…

So, today I logged into their netbanking, removed all the balance making it zero & blocked the debit card…They will not ship the replacement card I think because it’s showing that I need to request for a replacement card which certainly I’m not gonna do…

And lastly, in the service request section, I also found an option to place a request for account closure…I don’t know how legit this option is But I lodged that & it’s showing as pending…

After a 3.75L FD & maintaining high balances, they still didn’t give me any CC & kept on declining all the cc applications…2 years back they made me open the savings account saying it will help me get the card which was obviously fake which I got to know later that, to get the card, I didn’t have to open a savings account…

Infact when I had applied for Yes First Preferred (they sent me a fake pre-approved offer sms like HDFC use to do) but they still declined the application & when I complained to Ombudsman, Yes Bank told RBI that I gave “FORGED income docs” so they couldn’t accept my aplication while it was a Pre-Approved offer & I didn’t provide any income docs at all…And RBI took their side this time & closed my complaint…

Currently I don’t know if the online account closure procedure will work or they will ask me to visit the branch which I’m currently not interested in as branch people & RM are also crap & due to physical problems, I am not gonna travel like 3 hours to visit the branch…

So, as I have already removed everything from the NO Savings Account, what will happen??  Is there any possibility that it will also affect my CIBIL because they will try to charge AMB which they won’t be able to recover as the account is completely empty now…

Most bank do not facilitate closing the bank account online. Yes is one of them.

I know this already about other banks but they don’t have option to raise a account closure request online but YES is providing this option to raise a service request for the same?? Mujhe SMS bhi mila ke meri account closure request is currently pending…

When banks will commit/promise something, they need to fulfil that…We are keeping money in their banks & because of US, they are surviving, so it’s THEIR responsibility to value their own customers because options ki koyi kami nhi hain aajkaal logo ke paas…

You keep on making your customers irritated  by taking them for granted, by not giving them value, not listening to their requests, not trying to resolve the problems & the customers will move to another bank…

Customers are always God but in India, customers are always DOG… 😣

I am surprised that you still kept account with them when they blamed you of forging docs. Was that true? 

also don’t worry just remove the money, account will close itself after few years. I have done it many times. Won’t affect the credit score. 

Though after demonetisation I have noticed that bank account with healthy balance not used for even a small duration goes dormant soon while bank accs without a balance take a long time to go dormant. Somebody is in dire need of these healthy dormant accounts to clean of their balance sheet. 😜

Yes they did that…First time in my life I saw any bank sending their customer a Pre-approved offer by SMS & when they declined the application even after that & customer tried to take the help from Ombudsman, bank authorities said this to RBI

Yes Bank mentioned in their response to RBI that, they have intimated me about thier decision & that they told me that I was giving forged income docs but in-reality they never sent me any such email because they know that it was a fake & baseless allegation…

My forum name is also my real name & it’s a male name but these morons kept mentioning SHE, HER & MS in their response to RBI

I had replied back to this RBI email asking them to PROVE Yes Bank that I gave forged income docs but I didn’t get any response…I got a few calls from YES Higher authorities after creating the Ombudsman complaint & when I asked them why they blamed me for giving forged income docs when I didn’t give any income docs at all, they said, they don’t know about this matter & they asked me to send them proof that I got Pre-approved offer from the bank which I did & sent them the SMS screenshot but after a few days, I got email from RBI, that my complaint has been closed & this can’t be appealed further…

Yes I should have removed the balance earlier but I didn’t know if I will have to face any problems regardng this in future because I didn’t have to do it with other banks yet but since now I know that, removing balance won’t create any problems for me, I can do the same with Digibank & Axis too because I don’t use them at all… 

EDIT : Digibank account can be closed from the app itself so will try the above with Axis…Axis customer service is worst than many govt banks lol…

Yes branch people & RM also keep on calling every other day asking “why I am not doing any transaction on my account” & asking me to FD & take loans again & again even after telling them repeatedly that I’m not interested in doing these….

New people from new numbers keep calling me from the branch & I keep blocking their numbers lol…

They also keep calling me to transfer balances from my other bank accounts to YES account (so that they can fulfil their monthly target)…

Why should I give them clarification/Justification that why I am not doing any transaction on my account ?? Lol…

Reputed banks never do this…They may keep calling for loans & FDs etc but they will never ask the customer by calling him/her that why there is no transaction in the account…Customers are NOT liable to clarify that, as it’s their wish…

These shameless people even sent me a survey link today by email mentioning me as a valued customer, I need to rate their services with the email subject of “YES Bank would love to hear from you !”

I put the asterisk because it’s a public forum…I wrote the full in the survey…I don’t think they would “love” to hear this though…😆

Now after this, if they call me to reconsider the account closure request or change the survey feedback, I will tell them to give me Yes First Exclusive/Preferred…They will naturally say, it’s not possible…Phir main bhi bolunga ke “phir bhaad mein jaa & don’t dare to call me again”…

Sorry for bumping my own thread...I removed all the balance from this bank about 1.5 months back & now the account is in minus lol...
