Citrus wallet help
Hello,
I added 2600 rs to my citrus wallet on 25 sep 2016 through my SBI debit card and transferred the amount in parts to 3 different bank accounts (not SBI account through which I added the money).
Citrus processes bank withdrawals through NEFT and I have successfully received the money in 2 accounts on 26 sep while I couldn’t verify whether withdrawal to the 3rd account was succesful.
If NEFT withdrawal fails, then the amount will be reversed to my citrus wallet (correct me if I’m wrong). Since I didn’t get any amount refunded, I presumed that the 3rd NEFT withdrawal was also successful.
However, on 29 sep my SBI account was credited with 2600 rs. The entries in my mobile banking mini statement/pass book are :-
25-SEP-2016 POS PRCH POS 044xxx Citrus Cash Mumbai 2600 (Dr)
29-SEP-2016 BULK POSTING TXN 044xxx DT 25-SEP-16 AT CP000006 2600 (Cr)
Now I’m unclear about these things :-
1) Did citrus credit the amount due to any technical error ? OR the amount was refunded by SBI because it thought that the transaction on 25 sep was unsuccessful ?
2) I asked the lady who printed my bank pass book and she was unsure about it. Will the amount get automatically reversed by SBI (if mistake from them) OR do I need to contact citrus about this ?
I do wish to return the amount to its rightful owner and I have read this thread → (https://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/t...) about how the OP had to face unnecessary trouble.
Help from bankers or experienced persons in this regard is needed.

After adding the amount , the 1st transaction I did was transferring 500 rs to Union Bank of India (UBI) account and I sent the rest 2100 rs in parts to 2 different accounts (which I could verify).
-Citrus statement reveals that all 3 debit transactions were successful.
-The UBI account is of my less knowledgeable relative in a different city. So its difficult for me to verify credit to UBI account.

Didn’t your bank account get frozen even after citrus debited the amount from your wallet ? and you didn’t mention how your account got unfreezed in your thread

I just say , u did the honest thing
But, things works with trail, logic, record, holder in due course, good faith but in responsible and sensible financial world, which certainly excludes India unfortunately.

SBI takes weeks, months to cross-verify n refund themselves if there was an error. If Cash load was successful on 25th Sep, then this has got nothing to do with SBI
Citrus has this habit of denying withdrawls and refunding the amount to source accounts when we load or add multiple bank accounts to citrus
