I added money to my Paytm Wallet but Paytm Gift Voucher purchased

Could u pls explain this situation properly..

Faced the same thing. Added funds using CC, instead of adding the funds to the wallet, there is a voucher created. I am not sure of its utility as of yet. Checking with PayTM care.

Not able to transfer the funds to any other paytm account as well.

you can’t get that amount back. but you can use it for any mobile recharge or electricity bill

Now Paytm wont allow to charge wallet using credit card. It will go in gift voucher. You can use that money on any paytm app and all merchants where paytm is accepted.
Paytm gift vouchers balance can’t transfer to any bank or any other paytm user

This has happened to me also. Not able to make any payment using the gift voucher. Did any one get any response from paytm. I have mailed them

Faced the same problem.After adding money to the wallet using CC,the amount is used to purchase a gift card.Know I don’t know how can I utilized that huge amount (Rs.8000/-). They should have blocked the card instead of purchasing gift voucher.What is their problem?After all we are paying around 3% while transferring fund to the bank.

they could have warned us before hand incase they are changing their policy.

purchase paytm gold with that gift voucher and then sell it in GRAMS and the amount will be deposited to your account. According to price of gold it may be a little less. It worked for me.

just try to transfer to any merchant account and get the money.

Let’s file a consumer complaint this is absolutely not happening. It happened with me today with 2k

What the hell is this… I tried sending 1000 bucks to someone and … It says you have purchased two gift vouchers each of worth 500 bucks… How do I get my money back..Plzz help

I don’t think paytm will able to go ahead with sort of policy and support…

This is all tactics by our FM.
I have posted on Paytm page about this issue just need your support keep commenting on that post or add your new post. Don’t spare them these guys are idiot.

I added money to my paytm using cc to tranfer it to my friend bt it got converted in some giftvocher which is of no use for me 😡

dont worry guys use that gift voucher balance on paytm merhant account just scan and pay

if nu have own amerchant account u can get that amount in one day

Same problem I am also facing morning I added money in paytm wallet but its showing paytm voucher purchased.
My full money stuck in paytm we can not able to transfer that amount in bank .
Unable to connect the customer care also they are not connecting.

How they are doing paytm

i lost 15000 in this trap. How can we do a customer complaint ?? Lets do it as soon as possible
