No bro, they openly deduct balance. From last 2 months they are activation VAS (English seekho pack) randomaly on my number (Vodafone-Idea) and deducting Rs 21 per week. I deactivate service and it gets activated again in next month.

They have right to complain, however people dont have a choice if they want to save money. Going with chotel and gang is like committing suicide. No one know when they will deduct your balance. I keep secondary vodafone number to avoid network disconnection situation due to any reason.

I believe I read the following somewhere many weeks back.
To activate VAS there should be double authentication .
Previously companies used to claim that , there appeared a pop up sms on your screen and you clicked on OK that’s why we added that service , but now it’s mandated that there should be another step , for example on BSNL we have to reply to a confirmation sms.
Even though bsnl itself deducted money from my account without my confirmation to that SMS.
Their policy is so dumb .
Suddenly I got sms that some stupid service got activated and that 30/- got deducted and at the end of the sms it said , send “stop” to some number for deactivation. I did that immediately and it got deactivated buy obviously money did not come.

I called bsnl customer care and their reply is laughable , they are behaving weirdly by saying like it’s mistake to deactivate and after deactivation from my end they can’t do anything lol.
Before that for 2-3 days they said server issue and they can’t check about this lol.
One agent claimed that “if you did not activate the pack on your own then why did you deactivate on yoir own” lol , i was like wtf man , you want to cut my money next month also if i forget to deactivate .

That moment i felt that BSNL is still too backward.
They said if my complaint is not resolved i have to go in person and meet someone in some office.
They don’t know what’s meaning of email I think according to what that agent told  me.
I sent them a mail too after searching internet about their email id and all.
No update till now despite several reminders.
I know it’s just 30/- but I did not like what they did and how they did and most importantly the customer care.

Chortel and gang don’t give a shit about TRAI rules, they don’t care. As long as you are in their random list then VAS activation is guaranteed and they won’t return your money even after complaint. They will simply deactivate VAS just to activate it next month.

Dial 155223 and Deactivate your all vas. And after that dial 1909 To activate DONotDisturb service and chill. Dail 1925 and stop your balance deduction after data end or Send SMS Stop to 1925. And live peaceful life.

I did everything you’ve mentioned but still they are deducting balance on random basis even though my sim card is out of the cellphone 🙄 in Vodafone. (Just for the past 3-4 months).. !
Now it’s their duty to response to our issues as we are paying monthly Rs.24 and not using their service freely.. to ignore whatever they do.

24deduct is headache nowadays but I have 8 SIM card(4 in my name,4 unclaimed who threw their SIM due Recharge price hike) . All has og expect chortel for their Chor policy. For keeping that chortel alive I Recharge those 75 days per Recharge. I have already enabled 2 step verification so no problems for accessing Amazon. Paytm also work fine. Contact 18001234567 for Voda customer care  .

No use of contacting Vodafone bro.. ! They just waive the deduction but this keeps on repeating and no solution from their end and just advising us to dont click, use adblock and activate pop-up blocker in browser 🙄 why i need to do that when im using it in basic nokia phone which do not have internet option !😕 CC is speechless and no solution !

What is your main account balance now? I have about 1.9k(1900) balance but no issues ,No Deduction as of now with Vodafone Sim

I won’t keep balance more than 250-300 rs ! But your balance is really high.. don’t accumulate again.. use it those in regular basis Bcoz we can’t judge the mentality of the service provider.. They may even stop activation of plans from main balance to gain more !
