I ordered from BigBasket today.
Used a referral(Rs.100 savings) + TIMESPRIME voucher(100 savings) + Payzapp(250 savings).
Got Rs.1200 worth product for only Rs.750.
BigBazaar sucks to the core and already half the stores hv closed.
This shows they are unable to compete.
I have also ordered BigBasket to 40 kms away from Bangalore.
I’m 100% sure they deliver to entire major cities.
Very bright future they have and also product and service is excellent.
I had to utilize nearbuy voucher that’s the reason I visited BigBazaar.
Never ever visiting Bigbazaar in my entire lifetime again.

There’s nothing precious about AZpay. Use it before they start to close its usage or lessen the incentives on many platforms after RBI’s rules kick in.

I will explain in detail how Big Bazaar is cheaper to shop with the Profit Club Cards.
I have 6 cards of Rs. 10,000 each and I renew them in August when there is always an offer of Rs. 500 Instant Gift Voucher on 1 card of Rs. 10,000.
Initial Investment: Rs. 60,000 (6 x Rs. 1000 cards for 12 months)
Instant Gift Voucher: Rs. 3,000
Actual Investment: Rs. 57,000
Payment using Credit Card: Rs. 600 (I had made the payment using Indusind Iconia Visa. Make the payment of cards using credit card to get more benefits. They do not accept Amex/Dimers for the card payment counter as they Amex/Diners deduct a lot. So stick with Visa or Mastercard. It’s easy to get 1-2% reward points benefit.)
Indusind Iconia Visa gives 1% on weekends spends as reward points which can be converted into cash credit. Equals to 1% ROI.
HDFC Easyshop Platinum debit card gives 1% cashback upto Rs. 750.
People looking for New CC can apply for HSBC Visa Platinum. You will get 10% cashback upto Rs. 2500 and Rs. 2000 clear trip voucher on first transaction (Check terms)
You will also accumulate the reward points but HSBC rewards are poor though.
There are CC offers running time to time. See if you can combine them during making the cards.

Some tips for the same.
1) Do not use all the cards every month. Most of the Big Bazaar cashback / instant discount offers are on spend of Rs. 3000 which you can easily accumulate in a card by not using it for 3 months and then using it in one go to save more.
2) You can combine many deals with the profit club cards. Like the Rs. 150 of 1000 (recent code waala deal was there) and shop for more.
3) Big Bazaar gives free shopping credit for Profit Club cards memebers every year.
4) Combine more deals in Big Bazaar like Kabaddi 100 rs in future pay wallet to get maximum shopping benefit in a single trip.
5) We also have a 10% discount card upto Rs. 5000. We paid Rs. 1000 for that card this year and got Rs. 1000 Future Consumer products. So basically it’s free and we get 10% on every single bill except during Sales. So it’s more discount.
6) Make good f______p with the store m______r. You will get free s____s time to time.

I always save around 25% + Iconia Amex card RP.
No compromise on quality. If you don’t like any product then you can just chat with CC and they’ll refund money if product value is <Rs.100
No timewaste. And sometimes I get 10% cashback just bcoz deliver ppl missed delivering in the timeframe allocated to them.
This suggestion comes from a extensive user from atleast 4 yrs of experience with BigBasket.
No wonder they are leading grocery site in entire India whereas BigBazaar is struggling to maintain their countable stores.

Thank you. It totally depends upon person to person. Various factors comes in play like availability, accessibility, comfort, preference, initial investment and choice. Every body have a place in this retail industry therefore.
We have a lot of active family members and we prefer to shop from physical retail. We just travel once a month and Big Bazaar is hardly at 10 minutes distance to my home. Big basket have a limited numbers of location and product catalog/sku is limited. Atleast in my location. We can also shop for Fashion in Big Bazaar. We have a large fbb store in our Big Bazaar.
We only shop when there are offers and we keep everything in stock at our home. So waiting for right offers is no big deal. I guess you are on the wrong side of the smartness when you talk about the financials of Big Basket and Big Bazaar.
Big Basket is a loss making firm relying heavily on money of startup investors. The balloon will burst later or soon limiting the discounts they can offer. Annual net profits of Big Bazaar ranges around 600 crores. I have more trust on Kishore Biyani than Big Basket. I have been using these cards from last 3 years and very satisfied. Will stick to it. Thanks for your suggestion.
Also you have to do so much of Bakchodi which you have explained which requires our precious time.
You’ll have to wait for season to season to utilize those offers and regular followup is required which cannot be done even by a Idle person.
Also don’t invest 60k next time, bcoz they will be closing their stores very soon!!!

Never shop from BigBazaar.
There are hardly discount on any products.
It’s better to shop on Dmart without any offer you’ll save around 20%.
Best place to shop HDFC payzapp on BigBasket.
Just shopped yest from BigBazaar. Paid Rs.1700 where the same thing I would have got for around Rs.1100 on BigBasket
