2. Share it on DD stating Woohoo is eligible because their T&Cs are simple and clear. No issues, right?

4. I contact them for confirmation. Get shocked to face such dumb cc agents who do not even know the difference between Amazon GCs and third party GCs. (One of them even tells me that Woohoo cards can be directly added to our Amazon accounts hence they are also considered Amazon GCs and hence are excluded. I’m like… WTF!)
4. I ask them to clearly mention this in T&Cs so that others do not get their money blocked, and also cancel my order. But no action on it even after 24 hours.
5. I lose my cool and write a mail to Jeff about their dumb cc.
6. Get a reply from cc resolution team that my purchase is indeed eligible for cashback. Period.

Note: I waste two days in all this stuff. Plus the tension.

I dont understand why your agony is against raj. He has nothing to do with this CC repeat contact. Rather he is one of those who ask all to refrain from contacting for such doubts.
Yes repeated queries reach escalation desk & must have been noticed.
But I fail to understand how a freecharge or flipkart understand what is misusage of offer but a giant like Amazon can’t.
Is it because they want to look like good Samaritan who will take all the beating but always smile.
Just to crate a loyal customer base, continuing doing that & for what else?
They have best of customer care response team (barring few new entrants or old arrogant staff) then why they need to let people rape them.
They are giving upfront 5% discount almost all the time. They do not restrict account usage to mobile number. Amazon account just needs a new email id every time. That means they are allowing this loophole knowingly. They just want to expand business at any cost so that every Indian just want Amazon.
Is it start of being monopolistic?
It can not happen that a company of their stature is allowing such loopholes. HDFC SBI or any other bank can definitely read in between the lines & can easily understand underbelly of transaction pattern. Why can’t Amazon.
The fact is that wanted it to happen like this. They always allowed cashback on everything other than their own gc which they themselves at discount always.
Just customers asking repetitively can not be sole reason. If is their intent to let it go then how does it matter if you ask & re-ask the known fact.
There is something else which works in these scenarios.
It would be biggest joke that Amazon changed terms just because 20 dimers contacted them.
Still they never updated their side of terms in HDFC Sale only HDFC part was updated.
But this time in electronic payment mode they have excluded bank cards first time.

2. Share it on DD stating Woohoo is eligible because their T&Cs are simple and clear. No issues, right?
3. @rajrocks pings me saying Amazon CC denies cashback for Woohoo as well.
4. I contact them for confirmation. Get shocked to face such dumb cc agents who do not even know the difference between Amazon GCs and third party GCs. (One of them even tells me that Woohoo cards can be directly added to our Amazon accounts hence they are also considered Amazon GCs and hence are excluded. I’m like… WTF!)
4. I ask them to clearly mention this in T&Cs so that others do not get their money blocked, and also cancel my order. But no action on it even after 24 hours.
5. I lose my cool and write a mail to Jeff about their dumb cc.
6. Get a reply from cc resolution team that my purchase is indeed eligible for cashback. Period.

Note: I waste two days in all this stuff. Plus the tension.

Implications:
1. They didn’t want to exclude any item other their own GCs from any cashback offers. That’s how things worked from the very beginning.
2. It’s only because of some paranoic users like raj that they got this idea now.
3. My mail to Jeff has nothing to do with this. If it were so, they would have blocked it even in the last sale itself. One should see the fact that they did not even exclude anything in the beginning of HDFC sale on Oct 1. It was only after being bombarded with the repeated paranoic queries of huge number of users that they changed things midway.
3. Now their promotions team is clear about what to exclude and what not to, thanks to the hyperactivity of people like raj.
4. Still people will not stop pestering them with stupid questions until they exclude even cards like Woohoo etc. from all kinds of offers. So much for living among dumbheads.

I got so much tired of the people chasing me frequently to reconfirm if they would get the cashback. All were asking me if I confirmed with customer care regarding the cashback. Finally I got exhausted and told them clearly that I am neither an official from Amazon or HDFC nor getting any commission out of it.

it was suppose to be paid by 5th dec. I guess still not processed

I contacted the cc on 6th december regarding this offer. He said he has escalated the issue and will take 2 business days to process. Today the cc straight away denied this offer and closed the chat from his side. He said no such offer exists/existed.
The worst part is the amazon link is also not working now. Do anyone have the screenshots or saved archive link of this offer from amazon site? If yes kindly pm or share here for all. Thanks In Advance
