@Altruist, 1st of all, thanks for a decent reply. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

I can understand your feeling. The whole range of emotion that you have gone through…

But there’s other end of the story. Shopclues is a market place & not the seller. They earn from the sellers & gives a decent 2% back to the buyers as goodwill gesture (I am pretty sure you know all these facts).
You are within your rights if you asked for replacement & then went ahead with the utilisation of the awarded cluebucks. But when you want full refund, how can you logically explain your use of cluebucks given from a failed transaction?

Actually, I wanted a replacement and mentioned the same at the outset. But it was shopclues who initiated refund even after multiple queries of whether they’ll give refund or replacement and specifying my preferred option that I would like a replacement. Even now, i’m okay if they send me a working replacement. But after this order, my faith in them has gone. What if they send me another defective TV shamelessly? Coming to cluebucks, the solution is simple, if its their goodwill, then let them show it after 10 day buyer guarantee period is over and order is successfully fulfilled. Before that is a ripoff and not a goodwill. It is goodwill if they own the responsibility for failed orders (their failure) and give cluesbucks, i.e., where buyer is not at fault at all.

I understand the facts you’ve put. But shopclues has a responsibility of fulfilling their orders right and not harassing buyers like this by sending defective items. Again, full refund issue was raised only because they decided all by themselves. I never wrote them about it. I was always querying as to whether they’ll give refund or replacement. They never specified, but always mentioned it in one phrase refund/replacement in all their emails. Ah, what the hell, i’m done with this one. No more shopclues for orders above 500Rs. The only satisfaction is that all dimers came to know of pros and cons of buying electronics from shopclues. I’ll never order electronics from them again. First time I encountered blatant fraud from a seller. It was not even damage in transit, Fairdealsonline was intentionally shipping defective TV’s as is evident. Moreover, they still haven’t published my review!!! https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_eek.gif But with this thread hitting more than 5000 views, their reputation will have got dented for sure. That’s a satisfaction for me. Somewhere they’ll pay for their mistakes.

can we please make a central list of all fraud sellers in 1 place where others can edit in 1 place only so it is easy to find the fraud sellers.

Sorry for late reply as I didn’t find this thread earlier.

Even before this incident, you knew that it has become Fakeclues. Still you went ahead with your purchase. That says something.

I have stopped buying from Shopclues months back except those chocolates after seeing recommendation from fellow dimers.

What you said about Cluebucks is right. They should have waited for 10 days. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
