Annoyed with the miniscule PM storage limit -- Email Out?

Hi Admins, I am very annoyed with the miniscule limit on the number of messages that can be stored in my inbox. I would not have cared about this if there was an option to email a copy of these messages. In fact, all private messages should be sent to my email automatically. I understand your concern about spam but you can provide a simple opt-in choice to the user.
How can I archive a copy of all my private messages?

yes it needs increment.
Since the api access is now out for some elites is it now possible to develop a system that allows our inbox to be linked with gmail(or anyothere mail service) so that all the pms can be stored there and (if possible) replied from gmail itself without the need to open the dd inbox
