Flipkart, a multi-billion dollar e-commerce company is probably Amazon’s biggest competitor in India (along with Meesho). If you are amongst the millions of customers who shop on Flipkart, you might want to know these latest, tried & tested Flipkart tricks, shopping tips and hacks to save money, find loot deals and make the best use of SuperCoins.
1. Flipkart Shopping Trick: How to avoid products sold by 3rd-party Sellers
Flipkart is a marketplace where any businesses/sellers can list themselves, be it official sellers, third-party sellers or even resellers. When you are buying something, especially a high-value item, you want to make sure you are getting a genuine product and not a third-copy of it, or a resold item. This is where this Flipkart shopping trick shared by @ssganeshhere becomes quite useful to know. So what’s this Flipkart trick?
Search for any product of your choice (TV, AC, Smartphones, etc)
In the Filters option, select “GST Available”
This would remove all the small third-party sellers who do are not GST-compliant
Thus increasing the possibility of only showing products sold by official sellers or medium to large-sized sellers with turnover above 40 Lakhs (goods) & above 20 Lakhs (services).
This will in turn increase the likelihood of making a safe purchase
Be sure to manually also check the seller details before placing the order.
The filtering of GST Invoice-only sellers will simply make this job a bit easier for you

2. Flipkart Trick to Earn SuperCoins Fast
Want to earn a lot of supercoins fast? Look for 100% supercoins back deals. For example, @Hrithvika posted this 100% supercoins back deal a while back where customers can basically earn 100% of the amount that they paid for back as SuperCoins. These supercoins then can be used to get an extra discount on the next order or you can use them to buy Flipkart Gift Vouchers from the SuperCoins Rewards store at a value of 4 SuperCoins = ₹1.
For example, if you buy a 100% SuperCoins back eligible product of ₹2000, you will get 2000 SuperCoins back in your Flipkart account. These deals keep coming in from time to time so don’t worry if you miss a deal.
VIP members can use flat 5% SuperCoins on their order at a value of 1 SuperCoin = ₹1 (and also earn 5% up to 100 SuperCoins on every order). This makes the 100% SuperCoins back deal even more lucrative.
Premium and Plus members can buy Flipkart gift vouchers from the Rewards Store at a value of 4 SC = ₹1 (so in a way you get ₹500 value SuperCoins on shopping of ₹2000 thus a 25% return)

Moving on to our list of some of the best Flipkart tricks and hacks to save money, the credits to this one goes entirely to our dimer @ ssganesh. With the help of this trick, you can earn free additional scratchcards or discount coupons on your past orders. Here’s how it works.
What you’ll need:
First, open & login to Flipkart website on a web browser
Any web browser (Firefox, Brave, or even your phone’s default browser like eg: iQOO Browser will also work)
The main thing is the Flipkart website link should not open in app, but in browser only
Once logged in to your Flipkart account, visit Orders section
Select & open any recent past order & copy the 20-digit order ID code
Note down this code somewhere
Remove the last 2 digits of this order ID code
Now, insert this edited order ID code in this link in place of “XXXXXX” >>> flipkart.com/rv/orderConfirmation/orderresponse?isSummary=true&pr=1&reference_id=XXXXXXXXXX&src=or&token=aaea7dbe8a4f6857a8eea15d9d7bdf48&type=physical
Once done, open this link in your browser
A page will be displayed saying “Thank you for shopping” and will have a scratchcard (as shown in the image below)
Open the scratchcard to get your free coupon or discount
This Flipkart trick was originally shared in the year 2022 so I tested it today. It still worked.
After receiving 1 free coupon, I tried to check with more order IDs to see if we can receive more coupons. Seems like we cannot.
After I received a free coupon with my very first order ID attempt, I didn’t get any more additional scratchcards.
But this trick is still worth trying. Some users have also earned a few Supercoins for free via this trick. I have attached some screenshots below for better understanding.

5. Tip: Be Careful When Buying High-value Electronics on Flipkart
Flipkart operates as a marketplace, connecting buyers with multiple third-party sellers, unlike offline retail stores like Croma or Reliance Digital, which often have direct partnerships with manufacturers.
For instance, if you're buying an LG TV, the difference lies in the seller. On Flipkart, the product might be sold by a third-party seller like Omnitech Retail or IWQNBecommerce, whereas purchasing the same LG TV from Croma ensures you're getting it directly from the brand or its authorized distributor. This can affect factors such as authenticity, warranty support, and after-sales service.
Whenever possible, verify the seller's credibility and reviews before buying high-value items on Flipkart.

6. Always Check for Flipkart Coupons to Save Extra up to ₹2500 or more
If you are Plus, Premium or VIP member, you can very well use this Flipkart shopping tip to save extra anywhere from ₹250 to ₹2500 or even more (especially during important sale periods). To use this tip, however, you will need to have some SuperCoins balance in your account. Simply follow these steps to find the latest Flipkart coupons discounts:
1. Open the Flipkart app
2. On the homepage, click on the “SuperCoins” section OR visit SuperCoins Zone from your profile section
3. Click on “Flipkart Coupons” category
4. Here, you can find all the coupons you can purchase in exchange of SuperCoins
5. You can use the Filters option to streamline the coupons to TVs, Laptops, Mobile, Fashion, etc
.
7. Get SuperCoins Statement in Flipkart: How to check SuperCoins Validity
Moving on, this is a super useful shopping tip for Flipkart users, especially if you are holding a lot of SuperCoins. You might be surprised to know how not many customers know that even SuperCoins have a validity and that SuperCoins validity got reduced from 6 months to 3 months (courtesy to @deathheater for sharing that). So how do you check the validity of SuperCoins on Flipkart? Here’s it:
Open the Flipkart app
Visit the SuperCoins zone by clicking on the SuperCoins icon
Once done, click on the SuperCoins balance which will be reflected on the top right corner of the screen
Here you can get your SuperCoins balance statement as well as check the validity of the SuperCoins.
Using this Flipkart shopping tip, customers can not only better plan their SuperCoins utilization but also avoid seeing their SuperCoins (₹0.25 to ₹1 per coin value) disappear into thin air.

8. Earn Free Flipkart Vouchers with Legitimate Survey Sites
This one Flipkart shopping tip can help you make some real savings on the go. Sites like Rakuten Insights and Prime Opinion pay you points which you can easily redeem for free Flipkart vouchers. On Prime Opinion, you get more frequent surveys (depending on your user profile, etc). Here, you earn 100 bonus points on signing up & the value of 100 points is around ₹88 which is amazing. The catch is that you can only redeem your points after accumulating min 500 points. Each survey pays you around 20 to 30 points (roughly).
Coming to Rakuten Insights, it’s a bit more stringent compared to Prime Opinion. They take as much as 8 weeks sometimes to qualify your answers & reward you points. However, here you only need 100 points to redeem your reward. You can complete quick surveys and earn 2-5 points each survey (sometimes more). Good way to earn free Flipkart vouchers & save money especially if you are a student.
Author’s note: I personally signed up on it today while writing on this article to check if its legitimate. So far here’s the progress I have made (images above).
Do share with us in the comments if you’d like me to find more survey sites and perhaps we can test them consistently for a month to see the true reality of these sites:))

9. Flipkart Shopping Tip: Check the SuperCoins Rewards store for free vouchers & more
This might seem like an obvious tip to frequent Flipkart shoppers. However, you will be surprised that there are actually pretty good deals/rewards available occasionally in the Rewards section. For example, have a look at this deal of Barbeque Nation. You can buy a 500 BBQ Nation discount coupon in exchange for 18 SuperCoins + ₹2 which is obviously a good reward to return ratio. Similarly, you can find 45 days of Gaana Subscription in exchange of 1 SuperCoin, CoinSwitch ₹50 Bitcoin voucher for 50 SuperCoins, 3 months EazyDiner membership worth ₹695 for 200 SuperCoins and many more deals.
