Thanks +kg . The form need to be sent on which address by post or it can be shown at Aadhaar centre also?
You need to update Aadhaar via Enrolment Agency by submitting this document.
You can also update via online by using both (Page 9 and Page 10).
For online updation, mobile number must be registered.Login through Aadhaar Registered Mobile Number is the only option now.

Hi Bro,
You can use Page Number 10 in below link for Address Updates:
https://uidai.gov.in/images/commdoc/26_JAN_2023...
Also Page 9 is used for Address sharing with close relatives. You can also update Address online by uploading Page 9 as proof in "(HOF) Based Address Update" option in "Name/Gender/Date of Birth & Address Update" option.

Is Pan card works?
PAN is currently used as "Proof of Identity" only for Enrolling/Updating.

So very difficult to change her address. Previously there used to be address change via other residing person but now it is not showing that option.
Any other way, heard of some post office letter thing but don't have full knowledge of it.

Electricity bill, water bill etc etc
Make sure your name in Aadhaar is exactly matching with Address Proofs.

Yes, the address can be updated online. Any proof of address documents can work like
1. Ration Card with address
2. Election Commission ID Card
3. Passport
4. Water Bill (not older than 3 months)
You can find the official list of acceptable documents here too - https://uidai.gov.in/images/commdoc/26_JAN_2023...
Hope this helps

No getting any appointment location.
I have done name change (minor change) to match with drivers license and paid Rs 50... no big deal if it goes thru...

Only via Enrolment/Update centres.
Feature may be available soon.

Even if it's correct and you have received sms about Document Update, better do it..
Chances are there for Aadhaar Deactivation.

How long it update address?
ritesh.gupta5555139 wrote:Charges are still there and it's asking for 59 rs for address updation
Bro,
This feature is Document Update.Don't get confused with this "update" word. It's actually uploading your POI(Proof of Identity) and POA(Proof of Address) to your account. This feature is free till June 14.
For normal updation online, you need to pay 50+.

I have been struggling to update my address on aadhar card. I have raised my request back in November and it is still not resolved. Received a sms that update is rejected due to technical reason. A lot of people facing the same issue. New scam in the house......?
May i know which document submitted as Address Proof.
shh_my_dog_is_sleeping wrote:Whether Linking of PAN and Aadhaar mandatory for Minor who is holding a PAN & Aadhaar?
If someone who has not yet generated PAN ( minor who will be adult soon ), does that person also needs to pay for pan - aadhar linking or it is for old users?
Every user having a valid PAN and Aadhaar is required to link its Aadhaar with PAN unless they are covered under exempt category
- Residing in the States of Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, and Meghalaya;
- a non-resident as per the Income-tax Act, 1961;
- of the age of eighty years or more at any time during the previous year; or
- not a citizen of India.

So, probably free PAN and Aadhar link can only be a far-fetched dream for now😄
Seems futile to not highlight the exclusion clause upfront.
That the free of cost update is only available for those UIDAI ID cards which were first issued prior to 2014 (issued till about the end of 2013).

I think a month back it was free, right?
😀
