For those who hold the Axis Primus card, it’s like having the golden ticket to luxury. Book 2 nights and enjoy a third night free at any 900+ high-end hotels worldwide. Other (less expensive) premium cards like Axis Reserve, HDFC Infinia, and Marriott Bonvoy HDFC offer similar perks.
Still, the Axis Primus card goes the extra mile with its added benefits like up to 2 free nights per trip, room upgrades, complimentary continental breakfast, late check-out, and a Taj Epicure Membership - all with fewer strings attached.
One free one-way airport meet & assist service
One free fast-track immigration service
Complimentary one-way luxury airport transfer service per travel plan (Business Class seats only)
Free airfare for cardholders and their travel companions with a full-fare First or Business class ticket 4 free companion airfares

The Axis Primus credit card really rolls out the red carpet when it comes to air travel perks. Similar to the Amex Centurion card, cardholders have access to private jet arrangements. From free airport transfer service to free companion airfares, the Axis Primus credit card offers pretty big rewards for travellers.
A paid ticket must be purchased at a non-restricted fare from the airline and charged to a valid Axis Bank Primus Card.
The journey must start and end in the country where the card was issued, and tickets must be issued there.
The cardholder using the offer must be the sole traveller in the journey.
The companion using the ticket must travel on the same itinerary as the cardholder.
Both the purchased ticket and the companion ticket must be issued simultaneously.
Complimentary tickets will be issued at the lowest available fare in the same cabin class (e.g., first or business).
Only one companion ticket can be redeemed per itinerary.
Stop-over itineraries are allowed.
There are very few credit cards that offer as generous lounge access benefits as the Axis Primus Credit Card does — of course, that’s not too much to expect from a luxury credit card for ultra HNIs. With the Axis Primus Credit Card, cardholders get to enjoy unlimited domestic & international lounge access with complimentary Priority Pass Membership. Add-on members also earn 12 free guest visits per year.
Do note that Add-on members cost ₹15,000 per member and the first add-on member is complimentary.

Best luggage bags in India 2024Unlimited lounge access, access to a private jet, and complimentary stays are some of the benefits that make the Primus card more rewarding but what truly gives the Axis Primus credit card an edge over other premium credit cards are the reward points benefits & high redemption ratio.
Cardholders earn reward points on all spending including insurance, rent, utilities such as electricity bills, fuel, etc — spends that are excluded from earning rewards even by Axis Magnus Credit Card after its devaluation in March 2024 while HDFC Infinia ended its reward points on utility payments last year in 2023.
You earn 1 Edge Mile on every ₹100 spent and the value of 1 Edge Mile is equal to 5 partner miles. There’s also 0 rewards redemption fee. This makes the Axis Primus Credit Card one of the best for earning high reward points.

So this was all about sharing all that we know so far about the Axis Primus credit card. It’s indeed one of the best-value premium credit cards for now. However, it's only best for those elite customers who can spend way over 1 Cr per year. If we calculate the value of reward points and the scope for earning them, a UHNI can earn over 8% interest rate per year if the spend is well above 1 Cr to 1.5 Cr per year.

Otherwise, other cards like the HDFC Infinia, Axis Magnus and American Express Platinum Credit Card can be pretty sufficient.
Also, we forgot to mention, the Axis Primus is also said to replace the Citi Ultima credit card.
