There is some serious issue with these cards
i used 3 of my cards on 2 website and both the websites said they have not received the payment

What websites? It’s working fine for me.

not working for me at paytm..money gets debited but at paytm its showing the payment failed.

Same thing happened with me at paytm.

Amount debited yesterday noon still not reversed.

I just made a payment at BSNL portal

If it works at BSNL I’m assuming it’ll work for bill payment @ MTNL Too right

Do the use the same gateway?

Yes Amex card will work for MTNL and MSEB bill payments(BillDesk). On Paytm it will fail and deduct money. Will take 8-10 days to get it reversed.

I used normal credit card option. it worked without any issues. got product delivered also.

Working with Flipkart/Amazon/Groupon(not with Payumoney though) and offline chains like Shoppersstop/Auchaan
Not working with Paytm/Payumoney/Freecharge/Ebay.

Though it is supposed to work at every place where AMEX card is accepted.

The card that you are using to pay for this order must be issued in India. HDFC will work without any problem.

Same here! And this AMEX card is a Domestic card.

For some reason my Amex Gift card numbers were identified as international cards. I had contacted Flipkart CC and they gave their standard response that only Amex credit and debit cards are accepted. Anyway, I was able to buy Flipkart GC indirectly thru Amazon>GiftBig>Flipkart with net effective discount of 20% (5% on Amex + Discounts/Free GC/cashback offers on Amazon)

For MSEB bill payments, what is the 2nd level of authentication? I tried twice but both times at the 2nd level authentication there was an error of “Page cannot be displayed”. Can someone guide? Thanks
