amazon has made change to terms and condition and added this "bank Cards (ASIN – B01J19B5TA)*. I saved previous terms and condition in PDF format, where this “bank cards” was not used. even I have amazon customer care email proof in which they clearly said that HDFC offer is applicable on RBL gift card. but as many people approached them, so now they changed terms and condition. whole good deal spoiled . now I need to get cancel this order

HDFC has added/changed this condition later- bank Cards (ASIN – B01J19B5TA)
This condition was not there at 12.01 AM last night

Can any one please reply if we need to cancel the order as there are less chances of getting cashback bcoz of change in tnc.

Already cancelled the order. Don’t want to take the risk of waiting upto january to find out whether i will get CB or not. Completely lost faith in amazon with these type of deals. Looks like all are same. We are bashing shop clues for cancelling the order when amazon does it quietly. Now all the diwali purchase money got struck in the bank and amazon for a week. Also they are shipping the phone i ordered and cancelled the gift card. How clever of them I will refuse delivery and money will not be back for atleast 10 days

Own risk bro. They may or may not give the CB for RBL card. So you need to fight with them once the CB starts to come. I already cancelled don’t want to take risk and wait up to January to find out

they changed the terms, looks like many cleared their doubts with amazon customer support

You can’t cancel the order. You just have to refuse to take it from delivery boy.

Then I prefer to accept and use it which may be quicker.

But few mentioned that they cancelled the order already. That’s why I asked.

But BigBazaar, BMS, and other gift cards are fair game based on the experience of many dimers during previous bank promotions. Don’t bother asking CC as you will get incorrect and conflicting answers. Moreover, do not forget that the huge number of queries by users asking the customer care is what got the exclusions added to the T&Cs in the first place!

Exactly! But since we are in India and have people like @rajrocks as shoppers ( ), such stupid queries are inevitable and so we have to be double check before proceeding with our purchase. If every customer thought sensibly and proceeded silently with their purchase when Amazon had mentioned only “amazon.in gift cards and gold coins” in the T&Cs, everyone would be smoothly enjoying the benefits. But look at the situation now.
